Boy's not around i meet others

The Boy's working..and I'm out playing!!!

Leongie's on course today.. so gave me time to meet with peeps whom I haven met in a long while given that we've been sooo busy with all the funiture shopping lately... So arranged to meet the trio (little Monster-ah ryl, Papa bear and Vinvin) for dinner this evening...

My little monster couldnt make it last min and so it was just Papa bear and Vin.. seems like it was back to those days not very long ago..*ahem in actual fact-bout 5yrs now* where 3 of us would hang out till late....

Had dinner over at Bishan out usual meet up place these days.. and then it was chilling out time after walking around...no place at coffee bean, didnt wanna have ice-cream Again...so I kinda Conned them to having:

Its kinda like my latest addiction.. I've been having Yami Yogurt like at least once a week...and i super Lurve it!!! so yupz.. we bought the largest cup..and headed to the open air area of J8 and sat there at the playground. together with the many groups of JC kids there... reminiscing old days....like JC kiddos....

The boys humored me, and kindly went up the slide for me to take a pic just cos i said they will look cute on it as oversized kiddos... hahaha... I enjoyed the night out...with the Boys...Monster we missed u tooo..would be great if u were there too... enjoyed the Yami Yogurt tooo...well we called it a night at 10ish..and I went over to Jalan Kayu side to meet my other friend whom I haven met for a long while....
Addie was supposed to come too...but she was sick...so yupz... met Zi only...she just started work and was sharing with me all her interesting stories...and her working hours is making me envious!!! She works from 12.30pm to 6.30pm, no need to work during school holidays, and teaching a class of only 4!! How cool is that?? hahaha..


Anywayz.. hope to meet Addie up soon... I sent Zi home and then as I was making my way home i got a call from Leongie....(more on that in the next post....)

Pottering-the Half Blood Prince

Pottering the Half Blood Prince... Yesterday was the long awaited outing together with the Odac peeps...planned and organised by Papa Bear during Bing's wedding... the big outing to catch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince together.....

So we met up for dinner at 8ish...intro them all (those who came for dinner) to the Wanton Mee recommended by Teck..and then we went back to Grand Cathay to hang around till movie time and for the rest to come....

All in all there was a total of 18 who was supposed to watch the show...but only 17 (Me & Leongie, Meiyu & Yew Tien, Skee & Terry, Papa & Mummy Bear, Chimy, Carol, ZhuZhu & CK, Yucheng, VinVin, Ah Ryl, Rohting, Weilun) of us turned up...except for Vin's gf who fell sick.. =(
anyways... its been a long while since we had such a big turnout for the gathering...hehe

Well me aint really a harry potter die hard fan...(not in terms of the book), but I do enjoy watching the movie...I havent read any series of the book and i don't intend to..but i do kinda know bits and pieces of what happens in the end, from hearing from friends....But yupz.. I do enjoy watching the past few parts of HP.. especially the odd number parts... I dun really enjoy part 2 and neither did i enjoy part 4 (where most people like..cos of Cedric haha)... I remember i like part 5 cos it was getting more exciting cos of the fight between HP and the death eaters... but was sad that one of my favourite character died-Sirus Black...

Anyhow... knowing what happens in book 6 (ahem....death of the headmaster) i kinda had some biased towards the movie already...nonetheless, i kept an open mind and watched the show... At the end of it... well the rest of them...most didnt really like part 6...cos it was abit "DUH" cos of the ending...."Yes...I am the half blood prince"....and cos there wasnt much action in the movie....but still.. i guess it was a not too bad series for me in preparing for part 7..... and to think i got to wait like 1 year for that...lallala
On a different note... well Leongie never did watch any HP or LOTR even...but cos of HP part 6, i kinda made him crash course all the previous HP..(and as of yesterday, he only managed to watch 1, 2 and 3 before he watch part 6)..but well he said he will wanna watch part 4 and 5 soon, cos i told him i prefer part 5 more to part 6.....and soon...I will get him to watch LOTR too and convert him to a LOTR fan as well..hahah

Oh wellz, we've been going around places for furniture shopping..and its not an exception today...went loads of places to see furniture....cos we are getting our keys to the new place soon....

cant wait.... and well Pray for finances, pray for smart and wise decisions to be made for the renovations, pray for smooth moving in, and pray for God's presence to dwell in the house as we prepare to move in.. =)

My "sprained" ankle caused by Bee sting..

Updates on my silly wound... lala.. look at the pic.. and u can see day 2.5 after being stung...Anywayz.. am just glad that the throbbing 'sprained ankle' pain is gone.. now its just swelling real badly and its itching too...

Work today was fine.. kinda starting to get tired of the things i do.. or is it cos I got no more mood to work..cos Hols coming for me? haha anyway after work went to Bugis area today.. oh ya.. i have the car this week cos my dear Boy is cast away again...

so drove down to Shaw towers at beach road to meet up with my 17th Log cell peeps... attendance was 70%.. Yaomien, Chon wee and Jo was missing onli.. Naipa, Me, Vin, Dong Chen and Zanny was there at SOFRA.. turkish restaurant...

Always drive past shaw towers and will see "SOFRA"... never been there before...today was my first time..though few years back someone once said..wanna bring me there to try the food.. well being there today reminded me of that Someone... a particular someone who literally "disappeared" and refuse to acknowledge me as a friend these days..does not respond to my my msn chats, deleted my number off his phone... GOSH.. GET A LIFE... I've recently decided to just let go of this friendship since i no longer feel there's a need to hang on waiting for a respond just for a friendly Hi..cos i know that will never happen...

Anywayz... back to loggies reunion... the place was not bad.. the food was alright.. but the company was great.. was good to catch up with the Boys after soooo long.. 7 years since we all first met.. 7 long years manz.. gosh.. must really admit we are all getting old..lala..

we called it a night at bout 10 and told them that the next meet up will be a mega meet up with not just the 17 log..but also with the rest of the odac peeps whom each had not met for ages... and that's on 20th Dec.. haha..

All about the gatherings...

The one where its all about the gatherings

Last night and today went for 2 different gatherings...

18th Loggies had our monthly meet up and at the same time to celebrate ZhuZhu and KangKang's Bday... met over at Kallang to have steamboat before heading over to Cafe Cartel at Marina for kopi and chill..

Peeps from 17th Com loggies came by as well.. hehe seriously think its only Our "sub-com" that still meets up and makes it a point to meet up once in a month... that's good.. =) although some people have decided to go MIA from the group... but well.. we are still surviving with the current.. and also glad that the remaining still treasure the friendship forged over the years to make it a point to come...and at least respond when they cant make it for gatherings...

and well tonight.. went with Boy to his Poly mates BBQ gathering.. and the whole night's topic about housing, weddings and all.. hahah what to do.. they all know Boy's getting married..and i think they just cant imagine the once super active, super Beng-ish Boy is finally settling down..

lalallaa.. come to think of it.. its just another 7 months from now.. haha Know what?? I cant wait for it.... Cant wait for the Big Day to come.... =)

Sushi supper

Sushi Supper

How often can you get to starve urself with Sushi for SUPPER?? yes yes.. Supper..It was a boring Saturday today initially... not until I had SUSHI SUPPER with my monsters gang- Papa bear, VinVin and Little monster...

So Why was it a boring saturday today? Main reason being it was a working day for me... Argh.. total Sian-ness when you got to work on Saturday... (so now i totally understand those who works on sat) cos that means Your weekend is only on SUNDAY....

Secondly... well i used to sleep in on saturdays.. but now cos of Work.. i got to wake up much early then i can sleep til.. and that really suck big big time...

So yupz.. ended work, went to Youth, and after youth, arranged to meet up with my monsters gang for late dinner.. at "TPY"... well.. TPY to Haz and me means: Toa Payoh.. but to the Monsters.. they thought otherwise...

I reached tpy...and called Bear (cos half an hour earlier he said he left his house already and will call when he reach, and he Hasnt called me yet.. and its seldom that Bear will be late) and lala.. he was at Tampines....Immediately called vinVin... and bestest... he was also at Tampines... ARGHH... so sorry folks.. miscommunication this time..should have specify the exact location instead..

So Yupz.. they came to Tpy.. and we went to Sakae Sushi... had Sushi Supper Buffet.. and gosh we really ate super a lot.. and Bear actually ate 2nd round of dinner la... we ordered like nobody's business and ate like crazy..... but haha it was a great time gorging ourselves crazy...

Then it was a walk to Tpy Town park.. haha to digest our food before we head home.. but in the end it was off to Lor 5 hawker center for drinks and more crapping and catching up before we head home....
