Back in Spore
Hey Folks... i'm back... anyone missed me?? bet everyone did ya?? haha manz.. i am Just soooo NOT SHY.. hahaha... anywayz..touched down yesterday evening...and took the first breath of Fresh Singapore Air at 10ish..
and 3 wonderful peeps... gave me a pleasant surprise... VinVin dearie, Ryl Monster and Papa bear came to 'welcome me' back... *SOOO Sweet of them* and papa bear even got me "liang Cha" for my horrible cough..
I have been coughing since like before the trip...during the trip and now...after the trip too... sighz... anywayz.. be back to update again.. kinda disoriented now... need to orientate myself back to Spore way of living.. hahaha

Leaving on a JetPlane
Leaving on a jet plane...
Am currently at Singapore Changi Airport now.. came here real early... walked around at Duty Free.. usually whenever I check in, its usually at the very last call liaoz.. so no chance to walk around..
So got Boy to go in earlier.. anyway... its our very first LOng trip outta the country togehter.. wonder how things will go.. 15days together.. haha.. we shall see.. let's hope we wun kill each other.. lala...
and well I AM going to see snow mountains again.. cant wait.. YIPEE... NEPAL here i come...

24 interesting facts about me
I've been tagged by VinVin..so here goes..
1. I am a child of GOD and a workaholic for the Kingdom of God...
2. I have a sweet lovable darling Boy who tries to sms or calls me at least once a day whenever he is away =)
3. I have this crazy desire to want to stay in a hospital when I was young.. (Still do right now, from time to time) cos I will have all the attention in the world from people whom I desire attention from.
4. I used to believe All kinds of crazy things my frens told me..(eg: K2 fren told me she was a fairy in the moon, and she can turn into a yellow butterfly called "michelle", Chimy telling me the caves in Bukit Timah Hill are homes to Bears)
5. I don't fall for people easily...I think there are a total of only 4 people that I really like before...I dun usually have crushes too..I think I am weird
6. I always want to own a Treehouse of my own and be able to travel to the moon...
7. I secretly wish for myself to be born a guy sometimes...cos I think girls will LOVE me cos I will make a great Lover and Bf, not that I dun make a great and wonderful GF of cos.. haha
8. I am NOT musically or Artistically incline.. I sucked at drawing and any music related things.. and that includes my voice, But I find myself rather gifted in Games planning, programmes and Silly Fun things
9. I can sleep for a whole day..and still be tired...I can sleep anytime, anywhere...(I dun suffer from insomnia...think there was only 2 times in my life, when I cant sleep) -Thank God for that..
10. I can remember numbers and dates very well.. (from the very nonsensical things like fren's got together date to the Menu prices while we were in Nepal back in 2004) right peeps??
11. I will want to go diving some day (in the sea), but I dunno how to swim...so maybe I will try Sky Diving (which is something I really want to try)

20. I am a premature baby.. Was born 1month and 3 days earlier.. Would have been a December 12 baby instead...
21. I did ballet when I was younger, and I was a gymnast in primary school.. Took part in nationals and came in 3rd in the floor event (somersaults etc... ring a bell??)
22. I used to be able to RUN...and my fitness was like superb (scored full marks for my NAFA tests all the way from Primary 4 to J2) but now.. I am a real tortoise when I come to running...
23. I really.. really really Love Rainbow and the colors of the rainbow.. cant decide on which is my favorite color so yupz..i decided My favourite color was Rainbow Color..
24. I don't really like seeing the doctor even for major illness...because of this fear of being told I have some kind of illness and I will be dying soon...But lately I’ve been seeing more doctors even for minor sickness...cos of the MC they will give me..

Hahah fast huh? i got my 1st ever Bday pressie for this year already..got it 2 weeks back.... a very lovely and nice gift... Its something from LOTR, the "Evenstar" *necklace, pendant* that Arwen gave to Aragorn.. hehe shall upload the pic here when i have the pic =)
Think i can probably start having my own LOTR collection.. to begin with.. i have Aragorn Figurine and Evenstar *both from Haisan*, 3 LOTR posters(from Vic, 18th Log n Jasmine Wong), 1 LOTR Planner (from Dawney)....what else??

OLdbies gathering at KTV

Went for BSF (my bible study thingy) after work..and wanted to head home.. but the company of the ODAC Oldbies at Marina Square's K Box beckons..even though I dun really sing..and even though I am like Almost dying from my horrible cough..
So after waiting 1 hour for the freaking bus... i made my way down to Marina to meet them.. was trasferred to a bigger room..since there was 10 of us (me, Bear, Vin, Rohting*RT*, Jo, Tong Seng*TS*, LuLu, WenJun, Huiling and Ruiming)
It was really the ODAC oldbies gathering..haha RT and me were the youngest there..haha but nonetheless it was still Fun meeting up with them, hearing them sing, and me trying to sing with my permanent voice damaged voice but croak instead..

b'sides being dunked.. i went for movie the same night..Dear Boy came to Skee's place to pick me up..and lala feels soooo insecure..haha *skee n xiaohei will know what i mean* anywayz.. yupz.. We went to CIneleisure to catch The Fast and the Furious.. Tokyo Drift..
never did watched the 1st and 2nd one.. but I like this one.. haha cos loads of chio bu to watch.. haha.. Anyway after the show we went to Geylang to have supper..before going home..

I went home straight after work today.. super Guai huh?. Hehe.. no choice.. cos I am going to Nepal this coming Sunday… Cant wait..cos it will be back to the mountains I go, back to basics, back to nature.. back to Outdoors.. Yipee..
But I was half a good girl only.. haha went out for supper as well.. Vin, Monster, Bear and MAN came by to Toa Payoh Lor 5 to have Kopi with me.. hehe.. And the whole night was spent talking bout good old schooling days,.. but the silly games we played when we were younger...
well kinda feel those were the best days of our lives... no stress.. and it was all fun all day long.. if only we can turn back time... lala...
Anyway..hols here.. haha happy National Day Singapore.. and Happy holiday (1 day only) to us all..

ODac Peeps gone mad
BBQ turn Dunking Party
ODAC peeps had a BBQ gathering on SUnday (5th Aug) over at Skee's place.. basically just a gathering to meet up, have fun, eat, play and just suan each other together.. anyone from "not so young" to currently Young was invited...
was there at bout 4ish..and there was only: Jas, Rohting, Bear, MAN, Skee, Terry, Ah Hong, FuXiang then... but by 5ish, the rest started coming... lala.. wasnt in the best attire to really play fire and Breath fire..so i was far far away from the pit..
Thanks to Terry, Ah Hong, Skee, FX, MAN for standing by the fire and cooking great food for us.. the "Vases" who sat there, waiting for food.. haha.. well since I din get to play with fire.. i found entertainment soon after by looking at the cockles...
Found out that they are actually stil alive.. *WOWz* so it was a observing cockles and playing with them session..for super long la.. till silly MAN took them all to be cooked on the pit.. lala.. there goes our "cockles opening their shells" race..
and then there was the madness RACE we came up with... "Peel Prawns" competition...so there were 3 teams participating...(cos we wanted to make it more challenging..so we suggested Tag team).. presenting the teams: Team No Name (Ting and MAN), Team Double S (Skee and ME), Team Champions (Bings and Ah hong)
so we had 16prawns and 10 cockles each team to peel... haha. damn funny.. but manz the adrenaline rush was there too.. haha damn fun.. and super exciting manz...and we were behaving like "team 5 aka Team nasty from RACE 4".. was complaining bout the other team's prawns etc OPPsz..
and bestest... this took place:
Skee and me: Can we yield them.. can we yield them..Can we yield them...
Ting: You think everyday is Sunday ah...
haha damn funny la.. well in the end.. MAN and Ting won.. cos MAN opened the cockles real fast.. *kinda suspect he works as a part time Zi Cha man*.. but in terms of Quality Check.. ahaha i think Double S team's prawns was the most CAN make it ones..
After the prawn peeling thingy.. we started the evil.. Dunk people game... well I kinda expectd this to happen..so I came "all prepared", wore skirt so that they cant dunk me.. and I was Guai too.. didnt participate in any evil plans (cept for MAN's dunk, and taking his HP) haha.
But I was DUnked still.. manz.. i vowed not to be good girl le cos be good girl, never participate, and wear Skirt also kanna dunked.. manz. so unglam.. haha and so everyone was dunked (except Yimin).. everyone went mad.. it became a dunking party..
and everyone of us changed and wore Skee's clothes.. haha.to think i was going to watch movie after that.... But well.. I had fun with or without the dunk.. and it just proves 2 facts:
1) Wearing Skirt also cant save you from being Dunked..if you have evil track records of planning sabotages or dunking others
2) Shu Hong theory of: people dunk you cos they love you... and so.. yeah.. Everyone LOVEs me..thus i was Dunked..

The Sweet Boy
My Sweet Lovable Boy
He returned from Thailand on Early Friday morning.. touched down at Airport at 3ish, cleared immigrations etc at 4ish.. needed to attend court early next morning.. so Me the sleepy GF was already in dreamland then...
I set my alarm at 4am, I woke up, to send him a "welcome back home" message..and he replied... "C u at 8 later" ...earlier in the night, he sent me an sms
"wat time u going work tml? ur dear wants to meet u for BF, n send u to work"
Silly Boy..he only got home at 5 and slept close to 6... woke up at 7ish and he appeared at my house void deck at 8am.. *HUGz*
We went for breakfast at Maxwell market.. and then My dear boy sent me to court.. and at noon, he came to pick me up again..and we went to my place for lunchie with my Ah ma.. *luxury that i seldom enjoy*
Him ignoring and sacrificing his rest and sleep time, him wanting to see me as soon as possible, and him pampering me big big time the moment he is back...no words can express my happiness then, for all the sweetness and blessings i received that morning..
That's my sweet Lovable Boy for you =)
The girls came to visit

Slept late last night, but woke up real early this morning.. woke up at 6am!! Boy and me was going to pick Peisan and Immi up from Woodlands checkpoint.. They were here to visit!! well i haven really know for long.. but well they are nice people to talk to... easy to get along too...
So went to pick them up, went to Weihong's place to disturb him and wake him up from his sleep.. and dragged him outta his house for breakfast....before we went to Boy's secondary school, to drop by his Scouts Den to see see look look... (and that's my first time at his school haha)
went over to Ghim Moh for the girls to check in to Boy's grandparents vacant flat... and then it was off to lunch we go... After lunch, we headed down to Expo for the Climbing World Cup... well was thinking Boy would be the biggest "MP" there, but surprisingly, while we were there.. haha I bumped into quite a couple of peeps (Audrey, Kenny Boy, Choon Jin and my dearest NEh Neh Pok aka XiaoHei) hehe..so i was a MP for once.. haha
Boy sent me to churchie...and went back to accompany the girls.. after church, me met VinVin to join Kenny Boy at Fullerton Bridge to watch fireworks... but sad case la.. we were too late.. the place was already jam packed by the time we got there... nonetheless, the fireworks display was still nice..
Simple things like this makes me smile.. just watching the array of Fireworks and how short the time they actually last, but the impact they leave behind in people... Nice things dun last long huh??
Anyway, we met up with the 2 girls (Peisan and Immi) and Immi's fren at Esplanade.. headed over to Suntec for dinner., to mee up with Seng Yip.... waited for Boy and Weihong to come...before we went for Round 2
Went to Siglap's hongkong Cafe..and Silly Goose performed her clumsy act again.. I spilled my drink =( haha well we stayed there til 2ish... before we headed home...long long day for us all.. super tired....

After lunch, we headed down to Expo for the Climbing World Cup... well was thinking Boy would be the biggest "MP" there, but surprisingly, while we were there.. haha I bumped into quite a couple of peeps (Audrey, Kenny Boy, Choon Jin and my dearest NEh Neh Pok aka XiaoHei) hehe..so i was a MP for once.. haha
Boy sent me to churchie...and went back to accompany the girls.. after church, me met VinVin to join Kenny Boy at Fullerton Bridge to watch fireworks... but sad case la.. we were too late.. the place was already jam packed by the time we got there... nonetheless, the fireworks display was still nice..
Simple things like this makes me smile.. just watching the array of Fireworks and how short the time they actually last, but the impact they leave behind in people... Nice things dun last long huh??
Anyway, we met up with the 2 girls (Peisan and Immi) and Immi's fren at Esplanade.. headed over to Suntec for dinner., to mee up with Seng Yip.... waited for Boy and Weihong to come...before we went for Round 2
Went to Siglap's hongkong Cafe..and Silly Goose performed her clumsy act again.. I spilled my drink =( haha well we stayed there til 2ish... before we headed home...long long day for us all.. super tired....

Went for 18th Loggies gathering after work.. as usual..ended work late.. but Thanks to VinVin who came by, and gave me a lift to Papa bear's place.. we were the last 2 to reach... haha..Sorry folks for the delay..
well simple gathering at Bear's place, 3 person missing (Teresa, Roland and of cos Dan).. nonetheless, the company was great, the food was superb (thankies to bear's mummy) and lastly to Bear who kindly offered his place for us to mess haha..
We hang around at Bearie's place till 11pm and then it was time to go home.. went for round 2 with VInVin at ChompChomp for Tau Huay... and once again i only returned home after 12am...
Lala.. with a granddaughter, niece like me... who is perpetually busy every other day, I understand totally why my grandparents and aunty will want to disown me (not yet..but kinda think they might) hahah.. me coming home after 12 every night..(k i am exaggerating it, not every night la..but on MOST of the nights)
okies.. shall attempt to be a good girl when i come back from Nepal.. less suppers for me then i guess..

Late Night Supper
Late night supper... hmmm despite people saying how bad eating late at night is.. many people still continues doing so.. Why?? for me.. its for the sake of the company I enjoy.. haha.. Met up with ZhuZhu, Chong Keat and Papa bear for supper last night.. *papa bear came by GH to pick me up.. haha 4 days this week (plus today) that I am meeting him haha*
Went to Newton.. with the hope of meeting VinVin too.. but lala didnt get to meet him cos he FELL ASLEEP...haha.. so it was the 4 of us.. and CK ordered alot of food.. haha but we managed to finish everything in the end... greedy piggies...

Many Posts day
And this is my 4th Post for the day..
Haha siaoz liaoz.. so many post in one day.. FOR ONCE.. haha.. well guess since i am leaving for Nepal soon..might as well..to compensate for the drop in updates for the coming 2 weeks.. hehe.. bear with my crap lalala.
Met Papa bear yesterday after work... since he is still waiting for work to start in Sept.. he is super free to go collect my Air Tix with me... he came by GH, took public transport together *long time since this happened, since he always drive*.. collected my Air tix, and we went to pple park's complex to have dinner..
Then it was meeting up with Meishan...we haven met her for ages.. still can remember we used to meet her pretty often back in NUS days.. but somehow lost touch for quite some time... anyways.. we went to Thai Express at City Hall for Meishan's dinner.. sat there for quite some time.. to talk...
Went for another round of feasting... at Cafe Cartel... here's our sinful Dessert:

The Boy Returns..

Too much tots floating in my mind...and i cant concentrate... I just had to get it off my mind..haha.. well well.. THE BOY returns today!! lala.. time flies manz.. din even realised it was 15days already..
Seems only like he's away only for a few days huh?? haha.. well maybe cos i was too occupied with work, meeting up etc..so dun really feel the 'emptiness' without him around.. or maybe cos kinda like before.. cos most of the time i dun really see him on Mon thru Fri too...
Anywayz.. glad he's back too...cos I am deprieved of being pampered, deprieved of having someone make sure i do not skip meals, having someone to give me bigbig hugs.... hehe... but hmm wun be seeing him till tml night..lalla..

Forgot to blog bout how my "Lake House" movie went on monday... experienced and saw ugly singaporeans again...
Met HaiSan to catch the movie together..on Monday night...haha we always watch Keanu Reeves show together..and the last one we caught was "Constantine" and that's 1 year ago (also the last time i saw him)
caught it at Cathy, Cineleisure...We went into the cinema 15mins late..*well poor Haisan, lost his wallet, thus was late in meeting up* and then we went to the ROW where our seats were supposed to be, and hmm FOund it occupied...Singaporeans can be soo HORRIBLY disgusting...
We stared at our ticket stubs, and looked and double checked again.. 2 person (the 2 who supposedly took our seats) started looking at us.. and gave the act blur look..and totally ignored us...
MANz... how can they be soooo BU YAO LIAN lorz... irritating SHitheads...well we didnt wanna 'pursue' the matter more..and so found seats at the FRONT row..(sickening people..caused me to have aching neck after the show)... My first ever experience like tt la..
I mean I used to have people sitting at my seats too..but the moment they realised it is supposed to be someone's else's seat they will "zi Dong" lorz. but NO that 2 Pigheads just simply refused to budge....

Kopi, Lah Teh and Crap...
10 years time.. will we still be the way we are now??? A question we always ask during Lah Kopi sessions.. When the 3 of us meet up, its feels just so great to know we can talk about anything.. anything under the sun..
My dear Papa Bear, dear VinVin and Me..*sometimes with special guest appearances* and our usual once a week meet up for Lah Kopi and crapping session at watever supper place we can find.. The 2 nice peeps will sacrifice whatever sleeping time they have to keep Silly Goose company..
Had our usual Kopi meet up again on Monday night.. after close to 1 week plus of no meet up.. Vin came to Toa Payoh to pick me (after my Lake House movie with Haisan *more on that on another post*) and we went to Mr Bean at Selegie to meet Bearie...
Seems like Mr Bean is becoming our usual lah Kopi place.. haha.. nice place.. serves Nice "Ice Earl Grey tea".. but i still prefer my favourite Ice Earl Vanila from Coffee Club.. It is their loneliness and mutual yearning that draws Kate and Alex together across the span of time.The key to their love is their ability to keep their hope alive while they wait..wait for one another.... But sighz... WAITing can be soo difficult sometimes...
The thing is.... this 4 letter word WAIT Feel SOOOO long to people.. even a short 1 min wait can actually feel like eternalty when u just need an answer..etc... read this sometime ago in a book:
"maybe you got impatient waiting for God to bring someone godly into you life, so you got involved with someone you shouldnt have."
Goodness..when i read this.. I find it speaking to Me SOOOO much... really impacted me.. got this imprinted in my mind ever since then...sighz... I dunno what to do.. the dilemma i'm in..the hole I've dug for myself.. these days it jus seem i am falling deeper and deeper into the hole...
I am caught in between..I really am... but well..I am holding on to the hope that one day I will know how to find my way out..and I will wait...WAITing for that day to come... but will My ending be a Happy ending like the show??
I know it will..because i Choose to HOPE..

Lala.. you know people always say once a major conflict happens, things will go downhill from that very moment, cracks appear, kinda weird when u bump into each other.. etc..and then both start drifting apart..and things just aint the same anymore...
well.. I guess a little cool off period (be it years, or months) is good..but ultimately, it takes 2 hands to clap..how u want the relationship to continue from there still depends on how open both parties are in forgiving each other, moving on etc...
So am glad that after the cooling down period... despite all the past misunderstandings... we were still friends..not as close as before..but still at least can go out for meal, for a simple gathering together... =)
I believe someday.. we will be like before...
