Ex Guides brainstorm +Mambo!! Yupperz, had a Ex-guides brainstorm session last night..together with Zi, 3sa and Adeline.. to discuss many issues bout Guides that is 'bothering' us and also issues of Guides that will concern our future survivor....

Have many plans in mind..and seriously excited about them... and really hope they all work out... cant wait for approval and more brainstorm nights to come.. =)

Anywayz, Xiaodi (ah Poong) came to Bras Basah mac to look for me... cos he was joining Zi and me at Mambo.. haha... on our way to bus stop.. me went pass Raoul and got Rynthia to join us as well.. so off we 4 went to Zouk...

Once in... we wasted no time to head to our favourite corner.... to booze ourselves up...

Night went by pretty fine, teaching Ah poong how to talk to girls and all haha damn funny...Night was supposed to end at 2am... but as usual...i didnt leave at 2am... but this time not cos i badly wanted to stay on...

but cos.. Ah Poong was still super high and wanted to stay on much longer.... so waited for him..at the same time accompanied Zi too.. and so.. stayed all the way till lights came on AGAIN.... and that wasnt all.. NY jio-ed for supper cum breakfast...

went to Jalan Kayu for prata and stayed there talking about psychology terms haha..that's wat u get when 1 Occupational Therapist, 1 Psychology student and 1 Social worker coming together... (no prize for guessing which is which)...anywayz.. once agian.. got home at 6am today!!!

CNY "shopping" 08

CNY "shopping" timeWas in church half of the day today... and after church, I went CNY "shopping" with aunt, uncle and younger Brat-meimei.. over at Bedok Sheng Shiong... Gosh.. CNY is just 2 weeks away la.. super cannot believe it...

and well..dun really have the cny feel this year.. no kuehs at home.. cos we didnt really stock up on that yet.. Aunt's busy at work..and well we used to have Mama around to do all the CNY shopping and preparation..

Usually at this time... Mama would be "nagging" at us for money... to get all the new year goodies and stuffs.... and I am really missing her this new year... Anywayz, we bought flowers for mama at Sheng Shiong, took some time to actually choose flowers for her...will be dropping by soon to 'visit' her at Mandai..

Well.. back at Sheng Shiong.. I observed... usually when out shopping with aunt and uncle.. we will take wat we wanna buy (usually just 1 or 2 packs of cheaps etc) and then we went to the counter..well they foot the bill..

I realised... shopping isnt cheap la.. everything seems "cheap" but when it all adds up.. gosh.. that few items actually cost super alot la... and well.. scary manz.. in time to come..in year(s) i might be doing such shopping..and seriously.. must start learning to do budgeting.. thinking for family...

and yupz... wasnt an easy task for my aunt and uncle.. looking after a family of soo many people..(gramps, bro, sis, my cousins and me even) and i am truly thankful to them for having done so..and dun think i can ever repay them...

Was "reunion dinner" time with Loggies earlier on.. This time.. we had dinner over at IMM...very different from previous years...

Boy came to pick me up from GH and we headed over to IMM.. and since we were early.. we went walking around first... till the rest came...We (together with Papa bear and Teresa) went to Fish and Co for dinner, waited for the rest to come...

The rest(Huifen, MengMeng and Vin) came..and well kinda sad actually... cos the attendance wasnt that good... these days we not just have 1 permanent one missing (Dan) but we have 1 other one that's most of the time Missing too without reason or anything.... and well.. this time round.. Roland's busy, ALoy and Kang was at camp, and ZhuZHu had meeting to attend too..

Oh wellz..anyhowz.. at least the few of us still met up.. and glad each of us treasured each other's time and company...and didnt felt that its all about being in their own world with their other halves... Thanks papa bear for organising the meet up.. =)

Been spending loads of quality time with the Boy the past 4 days... cos he is not working..and well thank God for system such as "flexible timing".... and glad we spent such time together before he starts getting busy again....

So yupz... feels super like princess.. haha being ferried to and from work the past few days... and last night was no different... Only difference was that... hahah it was Mambo night together with the Boy!!

Once again.. he came by to GH to pick me up..in the car was-Mun Chun aka Ah Poong aka Xiaodi..haha...cute young chap... anyway it was off we went to Far East Plaza we went to meet Noel to go to the "angry man" japanese stall...

And the angry man was really still as angry as ever..haha all 4 times that i've been there.. his wife and him are always pulling long face..never smile..and after ordering ur food.. they usually do not allow you to add on orders even... but still many go there...cos the food is not bad.. =)

Anywayz, we waited ZL to get off work before we made our way down to Zouk.. once there.. haha Ah Poong started looking around..haha he first time there and he was super happy to be there.. *SMILES*..

Was a not too bad night..had fun..Little monster was there too and yupz, yours truly didnt drink much too.. =) anywayz.. it was another early night for me..cos had to work the next day..

Minds Cafe night

Went to church as usual today, feels weird that Boy isnt here after having him in church for service for the past 3 weeks... hehe he was at work today...and next week he wun be here too =(

Anywayz, after church, it was girlie outing for my Sis, my aunt and ah mei... we went to City Plaza.. (haha sounds like some aunty place) but surprisingly there were loads of shops with dresses la... haha was there to shop and look for CNY clothes...

and yupz.. shop we did.. before we actually head home... and ya was home for awhile.. and then it was outta house i went, over to Boat Quay for dinner and games with Skee and gang...

Reach Minds cafe at Boat Quay and there was Skee, Carol, Papa Bear and Yucheng... Xiaohei came much later and we wasted no time in playing games... was the first time that I actually was in a minds cafe that is NOT crowded at all.. (probs it was sunday and its a working day tml that's why)

Anywayz Bings came later too.. and it was another night of playing saboteur again... but must say we are all experts in the game liaoz... and well.. was sianz to have to end our game and head home cos we got to work tml...

yes WORK!! darn.. i so dun feel like going back to work la.. after 2 weeks of being away from office... !!!!!

Woke up this morning slightly after 10am... wanted to sleep till much later, but got to head back to office to pick up something for work tml (YES WORK on a Sunday... i'm 'working' tml-after soo many days of being away from office). so dragged myself outta bed, outta house...

Came home after that to wait for Boy who came around 2ish..and off we went to Town.. went to Marriot to take a look at the exhibition fair there.. before we make our way to Churchie for GEL... was Boy's first GEL session with us.. haha

Was an interesting GEL meet today, playing silly games together with Pastors, and yupz.. learnt some news things with regards to prayer... and Boy was super attentive la.. =)

Anywayz, after GEL, we went back to his house, get the car and then went to pick ZL up for dinner over at Choa chu Kang.. (thanks to Boy and his frens, over the last 2 years i am exploring parts of spore that i dun usually visit) haha

There after, we met the other boys-Seng Yip and Noel for kopi at Coffee Bean railmall... topic was centered around wedding cars and watever naught.. haha.. thinking far ahead already...night was nice and greatly spent with the boys and Boy.. =)

Was another day of not needing to report to office... so managed to Nua in bed till noon... Kinda think when its back to official work days.. I might have difficulty dragging myself outta bed after "slacking" for soo much..

Anywayz, found a lunch 'victim'... came to pick me up and then we went to City Hall area for lunchie.. goodness gracious.. one can never escape the ERP these days.. there's even Heartlands ERP gantries la.. watever for lor?? Oh wellz, NY and me went to Purvis street for Beef noodles and to think we risked getting summoned by parking at illegal place just to eat the nice nice beef noodles.. haha

Was meeting Haz to go Bras Basah..and since she was still on her way.. NY was free and didnt wanna rot at home.. so off we went.. 'wasting his youth and life away' (as he puts it) to Pennisular to check out nonsense things before we decided to head over to Raffles City to kiakia...

Went to look for Ryn sayang and haha she was surprised to see NY la.. she was surprised that he looks different from the last time she saw him.. oh wellz, the wonders of Night lightings Versus bright daylight...

Anywayz, Haz finally came and so i sent NY off..and then it was Haz time... we met so that we can go "shopping" for new year chothes and stuff (she says do bimbo girly things).. haha so after getting stuffs from Bras Basah, we made our way to Kovan area went to Wingtai, being cheapo thinking we might get cheap deals from G2k, Fox, topshop etc, but end up we din really get anything there...

So went back to Heartland mall, meet up with the Boy for dinner over at Thai Express before we continue our part 2 shopping...and Boy was like super duper bored haha.. so ended our shopping earlier then expected and Boy and myself left to head home first..

Was home and it was TV and net surfing time for us before I got jio-ed out by the peeps who LOVE me tons...-Little Monster, Vin and Mei*yu- and well Boy had supper plans too.. so off i went with peeps who love me loads to Kovan AGAIN... went to HK cafe and had my favourite dessert there..

2nd week that i'm there and i saw one of the waiter..and hmm seems like he knows me or i know him..cos always giving us the smiles when he sees us... but then again he machiam like one of the ex-charges of my workplace..

After Supper and then I was home now.. =)

Just to say this....haha Little Monster actually Suan-ed me tooo.. saying.. "u mean ZOuk was close yesterday??" (well if u dun get what she means..hahah she's indirectly the 13th person who's asking me why I was not at Zouk last night) lalala..

anywayz...Feasting AGAIN... past 2 nights..(Tuesday night and Wednesday night) my uncle been buying crabbie home... Crabs from the Mellben seafood place from the branch over at Tpy Lor 8... gosh...

So I have been eating Crab on Tues night for supper..(ate almost the whole big pot myself.. and on Wed night when he bought double the portion he bought on tues... and this Afternoon...i had crabbie and the bee hoon soup with crabs...for lunchie AGAIN...

Spend the rest of the day at home...and only left home at 5ishpm and met CJ for dinner over at Shaw tower..and lalala.. went for SEafood again...

I think if i pass out or die this week suddenly (Rebuke it and CHOY) i said..IF... you guys will know the cause of it...its sudden increase in cholestrol in my body..haha.. SO yupz.. met CJ..and he actually ordered 2 lobsters la..some clams and fish...

Ate till super duper full..and i seriously think i shall refrain from seafood for the one or 2 weeks to come... which reminds me too..RUNNING....

So after the sinful dinner.. went to Tpy..and haha Hax happened to be there..and we realised Zhaoying was there too..so we met up to accompany haz for her dinner..So qiao la that we were all there at the same time... there after..we all went home..

Just before coming home...Brat1 called me..saying my uncle bought fish beehoon and crabs again..this time he bought 3 instead of just 2...and he is saving some for me...goodness..was asking if they were joking la..cos I am super duper scared of sea creatures that moves liaoz...

Came home and THANK GOD no crabs waiting for me..no food too..haha.. and i am super scared of crabs etc le... got this very bad feeling i might be having nightmares of them tonight... will update bout the nightmares if any...hahaha

(2nd night in a row that my uncle bought crabbies home for us)..and then it was watching TV at home....

And now..i'm home.. trying to do my report.. and yupz.. shall work hard... =) be back to update again....

Byebye Kenneth from Philippines Impact teamBeen having a super restless time the past 2 days... nothing much happened.. Monday was staying home day,and wanted to pack some of my stuffs at home..but only ended up packing a small segment...but haha.."do not despise small begginnings" (as pastor puts it..)

I shall work harder and try to pack more the nxt few days if we are still working from home...anywayz.. last night, went to airport to send Kenneth off.. was at airport after doing a home visit..(which i brought meimei along) haha... was an interesting home visit..

Well went to airport thereafter..waited for kenneth to come.. and then he was here...its been a great time learning from him and also have our worship team be impacted by him and his worship team. Thank God for sending them here.. seriously pray that one day our worship team will be like theirs..

One that's zealous for God..and playing for God..not for their own sake.. Thanks Kenneth and ur team... hope to see u in July then.. =)

Seminar on Son's strategy

The Son's strategyWoke up real early this morning....and was over at ACS barker today... haha there today not for scouts, although i did see a few of them there.. but yupz.. was there cos of Churchie thingy... was there for a Youth seminar together with Charissa and Emmy...

Was a great seminar.. although some of the things taught are things that we already know..but yupz.. I guess.. since its the new year.. we can try adopt some of the ideas for GEL..and of cos.. take on the "Son's strategy" (Son here refers to Christ)

After seminar... I actually went home.. haha so guai of me.. got home and it was TV marathon time.. watch show after Show...till it was time to meet Jialiang at Tpy central for dinner.. haha (Jialiang, dun kill me i contemplated wanting to flhy ur aeroplane, so as to stay home watch TV) haha

In the end.. i dragged myself outta the house, went to Tpy to have "dinner"... my dinner was the Pic above (the ice-cream): Earthquake from Swensens =) sinful dinner manz... but yummilicious.. to think i actually ate ice-cream yesterday too.. haha


After ice-cream.. we called it a night and went home... Well.. got a piece of bad news from Aunty Serene in the evening.. so sad.. am disappointed and worried at the same time..for one of my charge... hopes everything's fine.. sighz... I wonder if I am doing my job well enuff...

Had went to work in the morning..(after soo many days of not waking up early, and not "working", i finally had to work)... but was done by noon...So decided to meet NY for lunch, since he was like free too..

So met him over at Outram, and we went over to Tiong Bahru for lunch.. had a lunch time topic on ADHD kids, Conduct disorder and whatever sort of disorder u can think of these days... and we kinda concluded the root of it all is Family issues and of cos upbringing etc.. and well.. after lunch.. just before sending me home.. a crazy idea came to him...

NY: Its Friday today right?? Ok.. i bring u to SJI for my Scout meeting...

Lala.. so yupz.. off we went to SJI.. haha.. interestingly to think I was actually at a Scout meeting.. instead of Guides meeting....and well to be at a Scout meeting but not Boy's school Scout meeting... haha But well.. still nice.. interesting experience... was there to "spy" haha, went see see look look, kaypoh abit and then i went home...

Wasnt home for long, I took bus over to Boy's place to meet him after his work, went to see the doc with him.. he had horrible sandflies bites on him... so after doc.. went for dinner, before we decided it was bring brats out evening...

Went to pick up Jonathan (Boy's younger bro) and my Brats (Ah mei and Pearlyn) and we went to Ice3 at gardens for ice-cream feast before calling it a night.....

After mambo night, after super early breakfast, Woke up super late yesterday afternoon(kinda guess i would have slept till much later if not for My nightmare, Me having to head down to SSDC, and me having to "moonlight" aka help YZ's bf....

Dreamt about Zi and me passed away...cos of excessive drinking..(Please tell us not to drink anymore..haha), and yupz... I finally booked my driving thingy yesterday!!! braved the rain and all to go to SSDC..starting to feel the pinch in my pocket.. =(

and yupz.. Met YZ at Yio Chu Kang, and we went to Sembawang..(yes all the way there)...to help her bf to do some stationmaster games...since we were like sooo super free..and well..we got paid too..(though was miserable pay for 2 hrs and having to travel all the way there) but still.. was not too bad la...

Seeing those young kiddos 16 years old... kinda got me thinking.. these boys (haven gone thru NS), arent like the boys at my workplace... these boys being from the "Integrated Program", feels more TAME... and then i compared them to male who have gone thru NS, who are in 20s.. and then I tot.. hmm at 16, they are soo tame,but the moment they complete NS, they become a total change person...(more vulgar, more crude, more irritating too..) haha okies I know i am soo gonna be condemn by u males out there..but ya... that's what i feel....

anywayz, after that, I Came home and i went for Kopi with Papa Bear and VinVin...haven seen papa bear for the longest of time..and was glad he came out despite it being kinda late and him wanting to be the cinderella..Little monster was out being happening so she didnt join us.. ... I miss the company of this 2 folks... miss those time when they will have supper or kopi with me almost every other nights..

Oh wellz.. since papa bear had to be cinderella and i had work in the morning.. we called it a night and headed home.. =)

3 words to sum up the night..."Happening and Interesting"... loads of drinks, music was alright, company was fantastic..and ya... cos it was the first mambo for us.....(we took LOADS of pics..but sadly...ZI lost her camera before she can upload those nice wonderful pics we took) so these 2 pics are the only 2 i have from my hp.. =(


Waited for Zi to come..and we entered via Phuture..was there rather early for once..(10ish) and so we headed str to the Bar... got our drinks...and that (pic above) is Rynthia posing with our 5shots of Apple shooters (5shots=10glass, 1 for 1 so its 20 glasses)... and we had 2 jugs of other drinks as well...


As usual..Ms Zi... My dearest and most favourite Mambo mate the Jiu Gui didnt had enuff.. we we went to get more drinks...haha...seems like our detox idea didnt really work... nuff of booze and all, we went over to Phuture...stayed there a while..before Zi and me (the 2 mambo addicts) went back to Zouk...


Joined Baggy Pants and Yj..and before long...Ryn n Gladys came back... and to our surprise ..
Gladys told us that ALSON TAN WEI JIAN was at Zouk too... WOWz... so msg-ed him ask him to come look for us... haha happenng la...


Well.. and then... Zi and me went to find our friendly bartender AGAIN..
haha... wasnt that busy a night as he had expected it to be... so more time to entertain us... and yupz.. just before we can order her drink... some angmoh sitting by the bar started talking to us... and before we know it..haha we got free drinks.. and think they were super drunk la...ended up giving us half bottle of alcohol haha.. CHEERS to cheapo neh neh us... haha

All in all, Zi had the most happening night there.. (NANA wanna know?? haha msn me.. haha)

So yupz.. we stayed till 4, wanted to leave much earlier..but was waiting for one another, and then.. Alson came over to join us again...and then it was 4, and then the lights came on... NY jio-ed for 'breakfast' so it was off to Toa Payoh Lorong 8 market for carrot cake again...and I got home at 6.30AM and it was OFF TO BED I went... lalala...

Was a great, super happening, supper interesting first mambo night for the year...

Alrighty...its my Mum's Bday today...i sent a msg to her via my bro (who's in India together with her at this moment)...wonder if she got it...Yesterday (09/01/08) was my Sister's Bday... Bet my mum did try to hold her in her for another day (so that both of them will have the same bday)..but my sister just wanted to come out 1 day earlier...

Anywayz, woke up at 12ish again yesterday... and then it was watching tv and slacking at home..until it was time for me to meet ZhiLong at Toa Payoh for late lunchie...and well..he accompanied me to go view show flat...

Boy had tasked me to go see how the show flats are...and so I went.. =) well the rooms or rather the flat i viewed this time was much bigger then the Boon Keng ones...more room to walk around and the Interior design was super nicely done...

After viewing flats, we went to Crystal Jade kitchen to have lunch...ordered super a lot of food la...ate till i super duper full..and to think i was supposed to meet Gladys and the rest of the GEL babes (Ryn, Emmy and Char) later for dinner at Ms Clarity Cafe.. (again..haha)

Thanks to Brandon(ZL's bossie) who got us the table at Ms Clarity Cafe...if not we would have to wait super long for the tables... and well..since i was still super full from late lunch with ZL.. here's wat i had...

Last month, while out with Skee and CHimy...we kinda decided that we will do this.. "recee-ing" cum chill out once a month at interesting Chill out place..after our last month's Rochester Park outing...This month, we decided on Dempsey road...

So yupz.. met them after going back to SAC for the interview of the Sec 1s who wanna join Guides..and hopefully there wun be much crappy guides this year.... oh wellz, so met Chimy n Skee at Vivocity... and we headed to Sushi Teh for dinner..

Feast and ate alot la.. my stomach nearly burst...and well though it was the only meal for the day (din take breakfast, and no lunch too) but yupz... think i quite lousy cant eat much these days...also it depends on my mood too...haha...anywayz... ..i din manage to go book my driving today..aha cos woke up late today..but i will do so tml =)

Anywayz, we wasted no time in heading over to Dempsey... CHimy suggested Oosh...cos he's been there before...and the place was nice to chill out..we got to Dempsey and we went driving around to check out the place...and well we even went walking around tooo..

NY was working there today... and haha went by his workplace..din manage to catch him there..called him no answer... so we left...and while walking back to the car...heard someone calling me "Ms Sophia"... haha it was NY la... so yupz..HIHi.. and then it was off to Oosh we went...

So we had to "change" place to sit...and then also called it a night..cos I had to rush home..to cut Gladys bday cake..cos its my dear SIS bday today!!! Happy Blessed Birthday to her... but haha she's not home yet.... shall wait for her to come home then.. =)

And yupz..its still day off later in the day...so i shall make sure i go book driving thingy..and night time its meeting up with Gladys and GEL babes to celebrate gladys' bday... most prob headin to ZOuk again....hahaha anyone else??? NANA wanna join me (3G) over at CANADa?? hehe

NOT working for the next few days....din work today.. not gonna work on Tues, Wed and Thurs and probably Fri afternoon too.... hahah...cos of some internal thingy at my workplace..and cos of that...hehe SWs dun need to go in to office..but we are asked to go do field work outside instead.. =)

And wellz... met the 2 other girlies (Haz and YZ) at Bugis today... earlier on in the day... me finally went to Cut hair...and re-color my hair again.... the last time i colored my hair was last year Feb lorz..

So yupz... Hair is kinda short now.. though not short short like last time..but yupz..shorter then i expected..but still Ok... as for color..hmm was expecting my color to be like last time..the Super Ah lian look...haha choose "orangy" color..but well base color is too dark so cant see the orangy at all.. =(

Anywayz, met Haz and YZ to go kaikai at Bugis... walked around awhile..and then we decided to go City Hall's Robinson... ended up we went over to Mos burger for dinner..and then we sat there for the rest of the evening..talking....talked about BFs, The one, etc... hahaaaa


we did however managed to go to RObinsons for 15mins before we adjourned to Kopitiam at Bencoolen to talk more...was a nice Slow walk there... and yupz.. we stayed and talked there till it was time to catch the last bus home... was a nice slacking day..not working, but still out with my dear colleagues turned friends..

and now i'm home... gonna be a nice night to sleep again... and its gonna be a fun packed day tml too..cos I am gonna be going to book my driving thingy FINALLY, going back to SAC for guides interview, and I am meeting Skee and Chimy Da ge for our monthly get together recee.. =)

Viewing of flats

SUPER EX housing

Guess what?? actually went to view a showroom flat today at Boon Keng (the Cityview Condo like HDB flats) today together with the Boy and his mum... haha..

Was my first time going for such viewing...same for the Boy too.. well looks real nice from wat the newspaper say...Cost super ex too..but still we decided to go check it out... never been for showroom viewing before..so was a good experience la..

So after church, Boy went home to pick his mum up, we went over to Boon Keng..and gosh...it was super crowded la..out queue number was 1131... and the average waiting time was 1 hr lorz... goodness..SOOO many people wanna buy expensive flat ah?? or are they all also just there to see see look look also??

Anyhowz, we bumped into Boy's fren there too..and after viewing..(after the hours wait) we kinda concluded...the Boon Keng flats...although Nice, its super ex and its Super SMall.. not much walking space within the house..let alone put anymore things in it...

and yes..flat viewing is quite fun...haha but flat buying is not..its a huge investment...cos SUPER EX...oh wellz, we went for dinner together with his family this week... and then it was off to west mall to shop abit..before heading back to his home for TV time...

and sighz...his busy work schedule is starting tml... total sian-ness... gonna miss him.....BOY I MISS U.. (u reading this ya?? heheh)

Last day of Christmas

On the 12th day of Christmas...

12 drummers drumming, 11 pippers pipping, 10 lords a leaping, 9 ladies dancing, 8 maids milking, 7 swans swimming, 6 geese laying, 5 golden rings, 4 calling birds, 3 french hens, 2 turtle doves, A partridge in a pear tree....

Not many remembers the whole song...and well.. there's a Religious meaning attached to it...(like i said..main reason for celebrating Christmas is to celebrate birth of Christ...thus explains the religious meaning to the song), anyway..it was the 12th day (aka the last day) of Christmas today...

Had wanted to sleep in...but well there was a Lunch treat from Uncle Eric, Aunty Iris and Girija for the worship team (i'm in worship team too..though i dun play or sing..but haha i do the powerpoint thingy for service) and so...got the treat too.. haha

Woke up early and went for the lunchie... after that was out for kaikai-ing with Christina and Sarah at Tampines mall before heading back to church for IMPACT team from Philippines to conduct the worship seminar...

Learnt quite a few things... eg: beats etc...and haha tot Boy fell alseep after reaching home from work and will only wake up the next day...but he surprised me and turned up in churchie...So yupz, went for supper with him and Char, Mian, Ivor and Alson over at Simpang Bedok before heading home...

Ms Goh's 30th Bday

Ms Goh's turning another year older and wiser again on 7th January (see i'm so nice..didnt mention how OLD she is)....so we decided to have a advance Bday celebration for her today...

at the same time..was a good time to have a Gathering with the rest (who are not in GH)..seriously arent I blessed?? colleagues that turned Friends..and we try to make it a point to meet still at least once in 2 months or so...

Went to Ms Clarity cafe (my 2nd time there)... nice time together...catching up with Lyn...and hmm seems like these days... topics at dinner table is usually about weddings... haha plus cos Boy's mum been talking about it soo much tooo...

Anywayz, was sad case Mummy (Aunty Serene) and Bee zai, and KKMM wasnt able to join us... all busy busy busy... and yupz..of cos...ALI we cant wait for u to be back tooo.. =) COme back SOON!!!

Ah teck's the only thorn among the roses. =)

2008New Year resolutions

Looking ahead... (2008 New Year resolutions)That's me, going up BP peak (11.09.07)
*yes... looks kinda steep huh?? its really that steep*

Not like me to make New year resolutions....cos I dun believe in them...but well..since I said this year was gonna be a better year ahead...and cos of some life changing event happening last nite during watchnight for Boy... I believe this year is gonna be a different year as before...its gonna be the year of lots of excitement and many many other things.... so yupz..decided to list a few "resolutions" for the year ahead...

1) Book my driving lessons, and Pass them within 9 mths
2) Spend more time reading God's word and with God
3) More family time (alternate week dinner on Sundays with them tog with Boy)
4) save More Money
5) Run more frequently (at least 2 times a week)
6) Blade and cycle more frequently (at least once a month)
7) Complete 21km run without walking, within 2 hrs 30mins

Shall add on more resolutions when i think of any... but these are the ones that i really hope i can stick by for now... =)

IMPACT Team from Philippines

Blessed New Year, Happy 2008 everyone!!! Its been a great great start thus far... =) Ushered in the New year in church, said bye to 2007 there too.. my usual routine of going to church for watchnight..

I remember when i first started attending church...i was kinda SIANz to be spending the "countdown" in church... but yupz.. got used to it over the years..and I think there is no other place i rather be..then to be in Church... in God's company... and yupz.. this year.. we had the Philippines Worship team-Impact- joining us..

Boy and me were out kaikai-ing earlier in the day yesterday...(31.12.07) went Marina, had lunch with Skee and Terry... (seems like some double date thingy) haha..and yupz.. walked around marina area before Boy headed to Church with me for watchnight...

Must say the worship team was Great.. felt God's presence SOO strong there...and yupz.. was "asked" to testify by popular demand...and we actually worshipped all the way till 2008 =) went around shaking hands..wishing everyone....

Highlight of the evening was when Uncle William (pastor) asked for the last person who wanna testify...... and Boy went up to the pulpit area... everyone in church was like "WAH!!!!!" I was surprised too... But yupz.. Boy shared... his testimony, his journey the past 14 years that he was away from God...and he re-dedicated his life to Christ (renewed his membership again) again...and what a wonderful testimony it was... was touched..super touched and my heart was overflowing with Joy...

Not cos... I now have a Christian Bf... not cos I now have the religious right to marry him... But I'm overfilled with Joy..cos he has returned back to the Kingdom of God... he's my fellow bro in Christ..and i know we have another thing in common to share and talk about.... and all that's not because of me, but because God has impacted and touched his life, convicted him and spoke to him.. =)

God works in miraculous and wonderful ways....small ways, and big ones too... it all starts with the little faith and prayer.... watch God do the rest of the work as u continue to water the "seed" with prayers and faith...

And so... yeah... Praise God!!!

So yupz.. that was a great start for my 2008... hehe after the whole watchnight service, Boy, Gladys, Charissa, Emmy and me went to Siglap's HK cafe for food... nice time of fellowshipping and feasting before we headed home...

Woke up (stayed over at the Boy's) ..and we went over to his uncle's place with his family for lunch... hangout there till 4ish and then it was back to his place... and then... it was over to my place for dinner... =) day of visiting for us... haha... nice time to spend the New year with family members

Great start for the new year.. =) and I know the year ahead will be an exciting one...
