Last night.. left office late... and well was "stuck" in office for another 30mins later all because we (haz, mummy and me) were chased by a small dog.. haha... darn funny... well I am not that scared of dogs la.. but this was a Jumpy Jumpy super Active dog....

Was rushing to us, jumping at us.. goodness... this kind of jumpy animals scares me... so there we were (mummy n me) screaming away at 2am at night la.. haha think our screams woke a few residents up... haha.. I even climbed onto a table too to 'avoid' the dog haha...

well tot i blogged about that incident since it was rather funny and yupz.. memorable for Mummy, Haz (our savior for the night) and me... haha

Anywayz, didnt really worked today.. cos all the SWs from office was down at Istana for the SW appreciation tea reception... lalal.. my 5th time over at Istana.. interesting time of tea... met a few peeps whom i haven met for sometime.. met some peeps whom i have worked with...

A good time of networking i would say.. catching up with people... There after... Teck, Haz and me..the lazier senior workers.. haha decided to take 'time off' from work..and since we were in town.. we decided to go for a cuppa....

Slacked and la kopi for sometime..till it was time for BSF..and well before i went BSF went shopping with Haz at Daiso and Spotlight.. before heading to Bishan... was an enriching session... and yupz.. next year BSF starts onli in Feb.. hahaha =)

GTG 1st anniversary

It's Churchie's 2nd First Anniversary...haha well we became an "independent" church this year.. so well its the first anniversary as an independent church (Glad Tiding Gateway), but not the first anniversary we celebrating (Glad Tidings East)...

So yupz... service was held at 5pm instead of the usual 10am.. hehe Happiness la.. cos its once or the most 3 times a year that we have service at 5pm instead of morning..which means we can actually sleep in till late...

So yupz... just before churchie, Me and the Leong-ers (my Brats and uncle and aunt) went kaikai and eat dessets... and only went to church onli at 5pm.. GEllies did a dance item... and yupz.. normal service and buffet dinner....

Anywayz, someone came... that someone was my mum.. somehow.. i feel sooo distant from her... after hearing about somethings sometime back..I haven been able to bring myself to be myself in front of her...I didnt greet her.. and i know she knows that.. I wasnt able to talk to her face to face, and gave her eye contact....

I have yet to release that (bitterness and unforgiveness) to God yet...and I worry that such feelings are actually increasing each time i see her and my dad.. Just cant express myself when i see them face to face..

Oh wellz, they had to travel home to Sengkang.. so yupz... decided to ask uncle to give them a lift at least to Tpy (easier to go home)... so ya. Gladys and me toook the bus home instead... lala... I pray and i shall continue to ask God to work out this feeling in my life...

Came home late, rushed home from work..and within 20mins i was outta the house.. heading towards ECP.... was meeting my Gellies there at 9.30pm.. for Night cycling...When i got there... hahah was 'shocked' la... didnt expect the turnout to be that many people... we had all tot it will only be handful of us cycling around only....

But well... frens brought frens... and so on and so forth... So yupz... turnout was great.. =) Nonetheless still welcomed...the more the merrier... Well.. have to admit.. on my way to ECP.. i was kinda sianz.. *other things in my mind as well that's why* but was sianz..cos I think i am sick of 'organising or planning or just leading' things...

I'm sorry God for thinking that way... but yupz.. am i getting Burn out?? hmmm anywayz.. Am thankful that it was ALs coordinating the night cycling pretty much.. cos I am sick of deciding and trying to please everyone...so I was merely in charge of leading the way this time (the routes etc)

And well.. since i was just leading the way.... didnt cross my mind for extra stuffs like.. (extra tubes etc..and haha we dun have any extra bikes too)...Oh wellz guess tt disappoint some people as well.. when things happened... Sorry I wasnt prepared enuff!!!

Anywayz.... nuff of that... We split into 3 groups.. My group= group 1 was the girl power team.. haha all the younger girls.. also more of the Beginners groups...we started off from ECP.. heading to COsy Bay (standard one.. haha they were sooo amazed at Cosy Bay la.. cos kiddos never go there before)

From Cosy bay to Esplanade, to VivoCity, to Mt Faber...and up at Mt Faber.. we met some irritants (hmm maybe cos i already wasnt in the best of moods, that's why i was irritated) anywayz... We did something interesting up at Mt Faber...

Feasting at MT Faber was quite shiok.. and well as usual.. i was the fire-breather again... haha some of kiddos were amazed at my 'fire blowing' skills.. hahah Anywayz.. by the time we were done from Mt Faber... it was close to 4 already...so off we went...

well some 'accident' happened.. so my Girl Power group cycled on first...and we took a water break at Tanjong Pagar railway station... till the rest came by... and we continued on to ECP...By the time we were back at ECP... it was already 6ish..waited for all to come back.. and GOOD MORNING its 7am liaoz...

It was the sleepiness and not the tiredness from cycling... haha if only our body(or rather..my body) can function without sleep...anywayz.. Concussed on the bus..and also after showering... and i slept all the way till 9pm... haha record holder... lala...

Simple things in life...

Simple things makes people happy

Was seated in my office the other day.. typing away my report... rushing through my work.. and then.. one houseparent (aunty) started calling out to me... "Sophia come.. Look".. at the back of my mind.. I was thinking "aunty.. why cant u settle watever it is urself.. ask me to look at what again?"

When I got to where she was... She pointed the above pic out to me... and said "Sophia.. this was too pretty to be ignored.. and i just had to ask u out to see this"....

O manz.. That put a smile to my face..and Gosh.. its really simple things in life that brightens up someone totally.. In the midst of our busyness.. we could have missed out loads of things that can just put a smile to our face or even someone else's... I nearly missed out on this wonderful "rainbow" (and rainbows are my favourite things ever) if not for aunty asking me to see this...

I nearly missed out on the chance to be "happy" and experience joy for that brief moment of long boring day... nearly missed the chance to just marvel at God's wonderful creation of everything around...

Gosh.... seriously.. it got me thinking..no matter how busy we are.. take time to appreciate things and people around... treasure it to the max too... cos once its gone.. somethings are just irreplaceable...

One of the kiddos love my heart shape cushion soooo much at work.. that he would ALWAYS take it from me..and insist i get him one cushion (something like my heart shape colourful one)...but well.. of cos I cant give him one that is Heart...haha so i got him a small nice Star soft soft one for his birthday..

And yupz.. while in my office.. while playing with my phone/camera.... while I was doing my reports... that was the picture he took..of my Heart shape cushion..and his small star cushion... hahah *sweet and lovely* =)

G's Bday

My Irritating friend's bday

Hahah.. This is -G-, my irritating Friend... and I am her Irritating friend too.. but hey despite our irritating-ness.. we both are still Great pals.. after sooo many years.. haha We've come a long way in terms of frenship... 12 years in all... (from Sec 1 on to now, less the time in Primary school of being hi and Bye frens)

I always enjoy meeting up with -G- cos..she irritates me..and well I get to irritate her too..haha..anywayz.. Its her Bday today.. We met up today after work.. *I nearly couldnt make it again* (was 'stuck' at work settling a crisis) but Thank God that was settled and so.. i made it there late..but still went in the end...

Seriously..I think the longer i stay on in this job... the lesser frens i will have... hahaha.. getting me very Rubber time.. and I'm always late for appointments cos I cant leave office On time.. Oh wellz.. i know some of u understands and still love me despite this and NEVER complain... haha *THANKS peeps- Love u all for that*

Anywayz, met -G- and the rest (cari, Ching, Teresa) over at Cathy's Billy Bombers and yupz, we adjourned to Starbucks... for the Birthday cake, song and ya. continue irritating each other.. hahah..JAsMINE Wong.. we miss u here with us..

We stayed till 11ish.. and yupz..took a 'lift' from Ching to meet Boy at Serangoon road.. and then headed for 2nd round of drinks over at Thomson with Boy and ZL and gang...before heading home.... stayed up till late again.. even though i was waking up early the next day..and i have night cycling tomorrow night...I am sooo asking for it

Wellz, Din go to work today.. haha.. took whole day of time off.. and was out having tea with someone important in Girl Guides.. She's the newly elected president of Girl Guides Singapore.. and also she's the wifey of Dr Vivian Balakrishnana (SWs favourite MP.. cos he wanna increase our pay.. hehe)

Yeah.. so honoured.. she invited me to tea at Goodwood Park hotel.. for tea, to meet up with me..cos she heard of my recent climb to BP Peak.. so yupz.. was a good time of sharing.. talking in general about Guides..and yup.. looking forward to be involved in Guides again soon.. =)

Anywayz, met Boy after that.. he came to Town to meet me..since he was on Off today as well.. so yupz.. spent our time going from 1 outdoor shop to the next and yupz.. had dinner at the hostile Japanese place at Far East.. and then it was kai kai time around Town...

Ah Leong is out from 21days

After 21 days of wait... hahah My dear lovable boy came back yesterday afternoon... finished his 21days of camp.. and yupz.. hugs therapy!!!

haha Met over at his place...and well he was super tired la... dozed off soon after..and only woke up much later at 6pm..hahah 2 piggies la...anywayz... woke up he changed and off we went to town... Was having dinner with 2 of his colleagues...

Had dinner at some jap restaurant at Chijmes.. super meaty meal.. and haha the bill came up to 370 bucks.. haha... *THANKS darling for the expensive meal* and yupz.. after that it was Home we went...

Today, met the lovable boy again after work.. lala... went for dinner at Blooies with Noel and Seng Yip.. good meal.. and then off to West Mall we go... to watch "Brothers".. well basically alright show only... not that good cos No Climax at all.. hahah... but well still good..cos its been some time since i watched movie with him...

Oh wellz, after the show was supposed to meet ZL for supper, but it was pouring cats and dogs.. so off back home we went...

WALK meeting

Project WALK is back!!!

Was a happening saturday today... did more things then usual.. met more people then usual... I managed to sleep in till late today... seems like its been quite some since i slept in on Sat morning..so yupz.. I woke up at 11ish am today.. =) HAPPINESS

Well had planned to wanan go running with Bear at Macritchie..but well at 8am when he called me.. it sounded like it was thundering...so we called it off..so back to bed i went... and yupz.. only woke up at 11am..cos haha was meeting Ms Tan at Town with Zi and Adeline to discuss on Project WALK 2007..

Darn.. I really wanna walk for all 7days again leh.. but no more leves... sadness for me la.. this year's walk.. is more Xiong on day 4, 5 and 6.. sigh.. will see how..try my best to go for the walk... =)

After meeting, went to church for GEL meet and yupz.. we had a short meeting on next week's night cycling.. Yipee.. GELLies are going nite cycling again.. haha... lala.. and yupz.. after GEL meet.. came back to Toa Payoh.. and met Jialiang for dinner..

Its been bout half a year since i last met him la. haha busy boy now in NTU also.. haha so yup.. had dinner at Pasta.. normal catching up..and then it was off to my other plan for the night.. Supper with the Odac gang...

was meeting RT and some others at Ice Cube at Gardens..so while waiting for bus, bumped into XiaoHei.. haha so she came along.. yipee.. the more the merrier.. so yupz.. lala was a nice night catching up with Little Monster, Bear, Xiaohei, RT and Skee...

Quite an eventful sat i must say.. usually dun meet up with some many people on one day..but hahah.. yupz... glad we all met up.. =)

Happening Mambo night

NANA Came back... so Closet Chiongster was outta Closet... hehehe.. Few weeks back.. I received a sms "girls..mambo on the 17th"..no name and called back, sms back.. no replies... only person I tot off.. was NANA.. but hmm how was that possible? since she's back in Canada....not unless she comes back to Spore..or I fly over to Canada....

Well... she was back in town..haha for Hari Raya.... =) but busy us.. no time to meet except for that Mambo date she set... so by hook or by crooked.. I just had to go mambo... since that was the time we arranged to meet up.. hahah... *yeah excuses right?

Anywayz, it's Charissa's bday today...so we kinda decided to give her a surprise yesterday..Emmy arranged to have dinner with her..but turns out that we (Cheryl, Gladys and me) were there too..haha we had dinner at Central- Pastsa de Waraku... alright food.. but man.. long wait la.. waited 1 hr for seats...

After dinner.. we gave Charissa her Bday surprise part 2..since part 3 (her family at home was still in the midst of preparation) we occupied her till part 3 was ready..so Part 2 was... heading down to Zouk.. hahah.. well mainly cos Gladys and myself was heading there so.. shun bian....

Random tots of Mambo last night...
1) Finally Ah leong's bouncer fren recognises me (without having ah leong beside me)..haha and first thing he asked was "where's Kenny"?? haha I still can remember la.. the last time he saw me with Kenny about few mths back... he actually asked Kenny if he changed GF... haha cos I look different.. (first time bouncer fren saw me..i was still plumpy, and short hair la.. now haha at least less plumpy and long hair)

2) Drank a lot (more then usual) last night.. hahah 2 jugs of malibu pineapple, 2 jugs of Chivas green tea, some shot of something, drank loads of bourbon coke, lychee martini Freeze...and loads more...

3) Gotten some free drinks..from some guys who tried to pick us up...and kinda stalked us for the whole night kinda thing... but haha.. we know how to fend such pple off..so that din spoil our mood..

4) Met some frens whom we haven met for some time....

5) I am NOT MAMBO QUEEN... my sister is the chiongster...ZengZi is the Mambo Queen.. hahah

Reminded of Annapurna trip

Reminded of Annapurna TripTalking to a fren online..(whom i got to know from my recent trip to Nepal)...and he told me.. "i realised u went Annapurna with my fren"... lalala how Small can the world be.. haha.. So the common fren we had is "PeiChin"...


He found out that i know peichin.. cos he was asking Peichin for information pertaining to the Circuit trip in 2004... and Chin-er as we call her.. gave him Kenny Boy's photoblog link of the trip... and while browsing through.. he realised I was in the picture as well... so yupz.. hahaa


Oh wellz...cos of that.. I actually went to look at Kenny Boy's pics of the Circuit trip.. and haha it brought back memories... Its my first ever many many days away from home trip..its my first trip to Nepal, and it was the trip that i first saw,touched and walked on snow...and of cos to make it real memorable.. its my Grad trip..

Back to where it all began...

Was a great day yesterday.. 1st it was KongKong's bday.. 2nd.. well I managed to see the Boy.. hahaha.. his pax were having a 3 day solo camp.. and so..he was free but not "free free" to be able to leave his workplace...

So since he cant leave his workplace..I was invited to go in to look for him... lala.. and so.. I was back to the place where I got to know him 2 years back.....Boy came over to church to pick me up.. (cos he was getting lunch for himself and his colleague) and then.. went over to Punggol Jetty..

His colleague came to pick us up with a sandpipper...and off we went to OBS... lala.. brought back some memories.....well spent the whole afternoon there.. watching TV at the staff lounge (super nice and cosy la)... and then.. well it was time to leave..cos i had a movie appointment with a fren... =(

But well..nonetheless..though time was short.. it was good that i did manage to meet up with the Lovable Boy.. =) and that made my day....

Another 6more days to go..and he will be back...YIPEE!!!

Its the Gramps bday today... so Happy Blessed Birthday to him...We had a mini celebration in church today.. lotsa food and also a cake... Something's missing though..KongKong's favourite Homemade Sambal Chilli... pounded by mama...

Oh wellz, Gave KongKong a red packet... and I'm gonna treat him the Chittychitty bangbang show... He love watching such shows..haha..

Yesterday was Hari Raya... so well no youth in church..instead..we went over to Ubin to cycle... initial plan was to go to Chek Jawa..but well didnt happened... so it was just a normal cycling thingy...

Met at 10am over at Changi...we had breakfast first... and only headed over to Ubin at bout 11am... Once there.. we wasted no time in getting a bike... and then off we went.. a total of 15 of us there.. cycled towards the west of Ubin...

And lala.. Boy was in Ubin too.. at his workplace of cos.. but he cant leave 'camp' cos he's working..but nice sweet him.. provided us with Weather updates every 1 hour.. haha... and yupz.. so off we went cycling.. and we even came kinda 'trespassed' into OBS property.. haha

We cycled till 2pm...and then it Rained..so we couldnt cycle anymore.. so returned our bikes and back to mainland we went...was thinking of going over to OBS to visit Boy, since he asked cos he was 'free' cos his participants were on solo camps... but he fell asleep and didnt ans his phone..so din go in the end... well was so near yet sooo far from the Boy..but not to worry.. another 7 more days and i will get to see him already.. =) So yupz..

Went over to Changi's subway to eat... NO bread option left..onli had Wheat..*YIKES* its gonna be my first and last time eating Wheat.. i love the honey oat one.. and I love Subway.. hahha Aunt and Uncle came by to pick us up... so off we went to Giant over at Tampines to kaikai before heading home.. =) Boring sat night....

Weekend is here again

Yeah.. I'm 9days away from Boy coming back from his 21days course... hahah Happiness... lala... well Sorry folks for the lack of updates once again...the usual.. Busy and lazy... these days.. I've been hooked on the silly square box sitting right in front of my sofa at home... staring at it for Hours that i just dun have the energy to update anything.... haha yes yes.. I'm hooked to TV again lately...

Lala.. watching shows after shows...Especially on Friday nights.. cos i sit in front of TV from 9pm to 10pm (for Channel 8 show), then 10 to 11.30 (SCV), then 11.30 to 12 (for survivor china, missing the 1st half an hour), 12am to 1.30am (Channel U) and then if i am still not sleepy.. i will continue channel surfing, watching till i am sleepy...So peeps.. Suppers.. pul me out for suppers or something.. haha..

Anywayz, Last night, left work late,.. so din manage to catch any TV shows... went for SUpper with the Work place peeps.. Haz, ZY and KKMM... went to Newton circus for late night meal... feasted a lot and really pigged out...

Today, Met Zhilong after work... went to Clarke Quay for dinner..at this chinese 'restaurant' his fren recommended...not too bad la.. and then after dinner.. while walking to MRT station..we called Weihong.. so haha he came over to joined us.. picked us up at City hall.

WEnt for kopi and then he sent me home... haha Funny.. was telling Boy that instead of just meeting Zhilong, i met Weihong too..and he said "i not around.. My friends take care of you" hahah kinda funny and true too la...

Alright.. heading to catch Survivor soon.. so ciaoz... Goodweekend everyone..

Family went to Mirama Hotel for lunch buffet yesterday.. was an advanced Bday Lunch for KongKong, cos its his Bday on 14th Oct... and well since Cheryl the police will be working on that day...so yupz.. brought forward the celebration then...

Was a simple lunch affair...nothing fanciful... Food was ok..with me and cheryl doing a tag team to whack the tempura prawns and also the roast beef...the salmon was kinda Not fresh so we didnt really ate those... hahah..

Anyway... while at the table... It kinda suddenly strucked me of the "1 seat missing".. table is set for 10 people.. previously, before..it was a complete table...and when this thing came to my mind..it was a subconscience thing in me.. i nearly blurted out loudly to ask.."Where's Mama" Thank God that didnt come out of my mouth, and my senses got the better of me..if not i would have turned an happy event to a sad one..

Anywayz, lunch ended...din wanna head home soo soon..cos kinda bored at home..nothing much to do...and well since SUndays was usually spent with Boy.. kinda miss him too..and well he's away on 21days course..so yupz... decided to go "kai kai" with the BRATS..

We went to VivoCity...walked around for awhile..and then we went home Oh wellz, Sundays without the boy feels different and weird... 2 more sundays to go... and then he'll be back... lalala....

Past few days were spent meeting up with some of the Oldbies... well.. I think i am seriously getting old so yupz.. got to admit I'm promoted to the Oldbies liaoz.. *Sad fact of life* I have never been afraid etc of growing old.. not untill lately..

haha... maybe cos I used to be the "youngest" for most of the trips i been on.. but this time my trip to BP Peak.. sighz.. youngest was actually 16 =( and average age was 24 and I'm 25.. haha i know "1 year only..Wat's the big deal".. i tot so too..but suddenly the tot of me turning 30 in 5 years time scares me.. i cant imagine myself as a 30yr old lady.. hahah anyway.. back to meet ups..

Dinner with Chimy, Master Em, Yonghui and his gf..... was caught up at work and met them straight at Sushi Teh at Taka.. ordered quite a lot of food..and well basically was a good catching up.. and yupz.. we adjourned to Mac over at Shaw area to view my Pics.. hahah.. was there for 2hours.. with me sharing my stories..and them looking at pics.. (one of the few first to view the whole album)

Dear Loggies met up today!!! Had dinner over at ViVocity's Marche... well good and bad that we are all making effort to meet up..but well Log Cell is never complete these days.. its always missing members le..

First it was Dan.. then well Ting also went missing... Dr Cai is always at work.. and this time.. haha KangKang was kinda left out of the sms list..seriously hope we can have a complete cell gathering nxt time..

Oh wellz, we were out to celebrate Papa Bear's bday.. but poor papa bear... he just booked out from camp the night before cos of reservist...so he was kinda tired etc and feeling abit down.. so after kopi and my photos presentations.. we all went home...

Went to Keyaki Restaurant over at Pan Pacific Singapore Hotel last night for dinner...Must say the place was quite impressive...It was my first time there.. well never heard of it in my suakuness...and most prob wun had gone there for dinner ever.. if nto for someone who introduced it to me..

Met CJ over at Marina...He was the one who wanted to try the Kobe Beef over at Keyaki..after all the reviews..and well remember? he was feeling rich that why..haha I got a great treat from him... =)

The place is decorated in a Meiji farmhouse style, and outside the restaurant is a garden which gives a peaceful feel to the place...Cosy and Nice... ambience was great too... To top it all up... Service by the crew there was Excellent... certainly the best service thus far as comared to many many places...

Must say it was indeed a splurge to spend soo much on a dinner.. *THanks CJ* hahah.. but it was great Food.. rather worth it... Kobe beef was SOO yummy... the Garlic rice was fantastic... Salmon was ULTRA FRESH.... Ice-cream was great... well basically everything was great... cept for the super bony fish we ordered....

will definitely recommend the place to all who dun mind splurging a bit on food (Set meals range from $90/- Onwards), Feeling a little rich, wanting to try somewhere different.. Go for it..and remember to bring me along too.. =)

President Star Charity 2007

Yupz.... I was there for the actual show... kinda long story..why I was there... and yupz..long story short: My workplace is one of the beneficiaries from this year's PSC appeal... so yupz.. roughly have the idea now....

So met Hazel at bout 6pm in the evening and went over to GH to pick up our 2 kids..(one is featured in the trailers, while my kid was the one featured in the PSC show).. and we reached Mediacorp at bout 7pm... got to our seats.. made sure we were in some InConspicuous place and then show started!!

Kinda good that it wasnt some Stunts performance this year... musical style was good.. and yupz performance was not bad....
