Durian Feast after baptism

Baptism Day and Durian FeastThere was water baptism service yesterday after Church... so we went to Changi Beach after churchie... for the service... The candidates for baptism included: Gwen, Joses, Alison, Aunty Felicia, Jonathan and Jenny... COngrats Peeps... happy baptism...

well Baptism is taking the step of faith and obedience to God... its just an outward declaration and proclaimation that you die to your old self (sins and bad nature) and when u rise from the water, its a new life in you.. However.. its not magic in that.. when u rise means u are sin free... We are all humans..and we are still in flesh...and so the sinful nature in us wills till err (cos of the fall of mankind back in garden of eden days)

So yupz.. after baptism..its up to every individual to have a close walk with God.. what's more important is the inward attitude then the outward actions shown.... back in Jesus day...this was wat Jesus preached..today.. His words remain the same in that we are to go about life with a right inward attitude...

Was a Fun baptism service yesterday.. cos the youth leaders prayed for the youths who were getting baptised...and the youths formed a Choir to sing youth-y songs for them too...

And then...we had Durian feast... sponsored by Pastor Joel and his wifey... and feast we all did...

So after all the feasting... Ken, Boy and me went over to Natas fair..hoping to get cheap air tix for bOy and my honeymoon... but well in the end we were just too lazy to go around and ask... so we left.. and headed to pasir ris to pick Char up...

We were heading towards ECP.. to go blading, running and Walking.. hahaha Char Rode the bicycle, Boy and Ken ran... while I bladed..... Ken's super satisfied face... We ended our healthy lifestyle over at food centre.. and feasted again... there after.. went to Jetty to talk.. and spend great fellowship time together there...really enjoyed such fellowship together with Ken and Char...

and well after that.. we sent them home... and heyhey.. i DROVE them home..safely... meeting Boy again later... cant wait... =)
