Had a busy busy week... so not much updates... went for GEL leaders meeting, went to my ex-resident's wedding chalet thingy...and well.. today went for Ms Chang-aka RUTH's baptism...It was over at marine Parade, the old FCBC worship place... and well it was real intersting.. my first time attending an 'indoor' baptism ceremony... and well.. jsut happy for her..that she's taken the step of obedience to follow our Lord Jesus Christ footsteps in water baptism..
Basically water baptism is just an outward declaration of your faith...but what matters really deep down is truely the inward Heart attitude which only God will know...but still we are to be baptised..cos Christ also was baptised with water....
In water baptism... the water kinda signifies the grave... the Grave where we died to our sins...and when we rise from the water... its like born again with a new life.. a new life of close walk with God to be more and more like Jesus..
So yupz...here's praying that Ruth will continue to grow strong in faith..and have a close walk with God for the rest of her life =)
