Near Miss

Am home early this sat night... tml is mother's day..and we've all plan to visit MAMA over at mandai...1st Mother's day without her here.. =( oh wellz... anyway..i'm down with the Flu package now.... so.. shant stay up too late...

Had a freak Incident yesterday afternoon... Was over in court for one of my client... and after court...as usual with my other colleagues.. we decided to go for lunch... So off we went to our usual lunch place...

Went down the escalator..and lala..the freak incident happened...

Months back... remember Crocs stormed the headlines when many kiddos wearing crocs had their foot stuck in the escalator? well few months back..i saw someone's slipper stuck in the escalator as well...and i actually LAUGHED!! cos i was wondering how on earth did the guy get his slipper stuck there since the 'catch' was sooo smalll...

Guess what? My shoe was caught and stuck in the escalator yesteday!!! YES YES..laugh all u want...it happened to me...*must be cos i was damn 'drowsy' from the flu and so it all happened in that split second* and yes.. My Foot was kinda stuck in there as well.. *I think*

I felt my foot being 'sucked' in...and knowing how long my body and reflexes take to reacte...well... i think it did get trapped there for awhile..before i actually yanked it out real hard...

Everyone around was STUNNEd... immediately asked if i was fine.. I looked down at my foot..thinking my toes must have been stucked in the escalator..and my foot is bleeding away..but THANK GOD, by GOD's grace... my foot was intact with all 5 toes =)

Amazing how my foot 'escaped' unhurt... seriously.. no bleeding..no bruises.. really Thank God for that manz...but well.. My shoe was like stucked there for bout 5mins... goodness.. 3 quarters of the shoe had gone in la... (can imagine if it was my leg)

anywayz..was sooo damn UNGLAM and sooo embarassing too.. thank God for Mummy (aunty serene) and Joanne to be around... if not i think i would have burst out in tears cos of embarassment...

Technician came to help remove my shoe...and yupz..that's roughly about all..and not to worries.. I'm not having Post Traumatic Stress disorder bout phobia of escalators.... But i thank God that my foot is intact.. =)
