100 days since mama left

100 days

Din realised it was 100days since my mama left us..surprisingly..it was KongKong who actually told Ah mei that its been 100days since mama left us..mei was telling my aunt that kongkong told her this morning..and actually teared....

Well i remembered in one of my entry last year.(their 50th yr of marriage anniversary). i wrote: "I think the key to them staying together despite all the quarrels, conflicts, 3rd parties, etc etc.. must be the Tolerance towards each other's faults..and also the love they had for each other many many many years ago..and also the love they have for their children...."

Cant help but think... in the last few years.. i've never really seen KongKong and mama really sitting down talk nicely to one another, but still their actions shows that they care for each other...

Mama will painsakingly ground chilli and make sambal for KongKong despite always grumbling he dun appreciate her... KongKong will make sure mama have something to eat whenever they are out despite KongKong grumbling she is troublesome...Up to the day mama passed away... Mama had actually went to NTUC to get coconut for KongKong..and when he came home, she didnt 'nag' at him and in fact still gave him the coconuts....

Think Kongkong miss her nagging, miss her cooking Loads and miss the chilli she grounds... just like we all miss her as well...
