Parenting...

Had a family dinner on Monday 18th Sept... almost a mini family reunion.. to celebrate Belated Bday for my Grandma... my aunt, kong2, mama*grandma*, 3 cousins, my bro, my sis, my mother, her husband, my step sis....

Think the last proper dinner i had with my mother was like ages ago..*cant remember it even*.. So it was good that we were sitting around the same table, having a meal together.. atmosphere was definitely good too... no tension between the older generation too..

seeing the way my mother talks, look after Sheffey *my step sis*.. got me thinking.. 2 main tots.. 1) Why wasnt she around to look after us the same way too?? and 2) good that at least, she knows how to be a good parent and is bringing up the child by being the stablising figure in the child's life...

Of cos, the 2nd tot i had Outruled the 1st... was definitely happier to see a happy family between the 3 of them (mum, Mr Goh n Sheffey) and to know that at least the young girl will be able to grow up with both mother and father's love..

Oh wellz, dinner ended, not very nice food, but at least.. glad we had a family 'reunion' together... and we bidded farewell and went home....
