Its been close to 2 months that we all went to Mambo... so.. lala while the rest was talking about mamboing during Campfire last week... I thought.. "why not"... and we kinda convinced Jasmine to go along *since she's back with us*
So yupz... the plan was that G and Zi will be at Zouk earlier, while I have my dinner meet up with Skee... Met Skee at Parkway parade for dinner and catch up alittle.. been ages since i met her too..and yupz.. from Parkway.. i headed down to airport to pick Jas up..
She was over at Cebu for some doctor's conference... and I was there to receive her at the budget terminal... brought her to the prata shop opposite Zouk first... and we talked at length there.. was actually contemplating not to mambo anymore.. but since G and Zi was already there... we went over to Z at 1ish..
And look.. who else was there. (other then G, Jas, Zi and Me).. haha its none other then Addie.. the mambo crazy addict... SHe was not supposed to be there.. cos she was supposed to be studying for her first paper on Sat...
But anyhow... since it was exams period for the Uni... gosh.. Zoul wasnt as crowded as before and that's good.. not much irritating kiddos around.. haha and music was not too bad too.. but once again.. its the company that rocks it all.. plus cos Dr Wong was in the house with us...
She was just totally amazed... in her words.. "look at the passion of the people dancing to the music".. haha.. that was what we told her was Stage 1 of Mambo...
Stage 1= Amazed and Entertained at the actions etc (Jasmine)
Stage 2= Learning the steps, following the platforms peeps..(Addie*She even felt there should be some video or online guides to teaching the steps*)
Stage 3= Knowing wat;s the next song the DJ's gonna play (that's Zi and Me).. haha
Guess.. the weekly chionging and going for mambo craze for me and Zi has died.. once a month or once in a blue moon is enuff now.. we are all getting old.. haha but still one thing is.. You got to be there with the right company.. and its no doubt that my Crazy Gang (Zi and Addie the usual ones) will be my best Mambo Khakis...
We called it a night at 3.30am.. after Love Generation by Bob Sinclaire came on...and we left
