Past couple of days.. SAC guides were having camp over at Camp Christine.. had planned to try take leave/time off to attend..but things got so busy that i cant... so was able to only drop by for their Campfire that took earlier on in the night
So yupz.. after Gel, went to Simei where addie picked us (Sharon, G, Me and JAS *yes she's back for 3 weeks only sadly*) in her dad's van... we felt kinda like some illegal immigrants in the van.. haha.. the journey took us from the East all the way to the West to Camp Christine...
Addie was so scared of the "taxi murders" along the way in to Camp Christine..and whenever i said there's some dubious vehicle following..she will ask me to "SHUT UP" haha.. so anyway.. we reached camp christine..our all time favourite familiar ground..
and well trust my dear Ms Tan to 'welcome' by loudly saying "Hello Bride to be".. gosh.. so paisay.. anyway.. She was surprise to see Jasmine there..and once again..she welcome her by loudly saying "camp doctor is here-Dr Jasmine Wong".. was a happy reunion.
So yupz.. campfire started..and haha I was the Guest of Honour..(and i only found out at the campfire ring itself).. so silly-ly i went to declare the campfire open... hmmm though Ms Tan said the campfire this year was much better then last year's.. (i dunno how last year one was..cos i was not around to see it)..but personally.. we the ex seniors felt that it was poorly organised...
Probs the girls were not experienced in the whole campfire planning etc.. 1) Firewood was not soaked with kerosene.. 2) They didnt bring rags with Zi told them to bring 3) Songs were not planned in order.. 4) They were not prepared at all.. 5) they never teach the rest of the girls How to sing campfire songs.. so we the ex-girls were the ones singing super loudly cos the rest dunno how to sing.....
so yupz.. while they had their fun.. we the seniors kinda had our own fun after the campfire..Singing by the campfire side..all those silly songs... at the same time.. those mambo crazy peeps (not me..not me) was trying to convince Jas to go Mambo on the coming wed.. haha
Anyway.. after we had our fun.. we went back to the lodge to join them for the debrief for the day...
And it was in this 'semi-formal' setting.. that i then spotted a bee like thingy flying around our legs.. I wanted to raise my leg up to make sure it dun get anywhere near me..but i actually tot to myself "hmm so many other legs around..even if it bites./stings.. it wun be me"... but guess what? the next moment.. i was jumping and shouting.. OUCH..
YES it STUNG me.. it was a nasty looking BEE.. YUCKss... hairy and big, fat ugly... and its pointy backside sting was still on my feet area where it stung me.. the rest was laughing away..(not cos they are evil and happy to see me in agony...) but cos they were all laughing and saying "this kind of thing can only happen to SOPHIA".. lallaa..
So yupz.. was super duper pain.. burning hot sensation.. though i din think i will die.. but yup it was super hot.. but well it didnt really swell(although i did remember my body has ultra late reaction) but yupz.. Dr wong says if i dun feel good etc.. i got to go hospital..
so yupz.. pain subsided abit..and then we decided to head home..and then the Nice sweet Boy came by to pick me up, bought drinks for all..we (Dr wong, G, me and Boy) went for supper at Rochor area before we head home..
Am glad Jas is back.. just sad that she wun be around for my Big day.. and that she's only back for 3 weeks this time.. =( but anyhow.. am really glad she's back...lallaa
anyway.. my wound feels weird.. starting to feel like i have a sprained ankle.....
