Bye Bye Toa Payoh....

I left for my mission trip to Philippines on 1st October night... in the earlier half of the day... i went for Jie Jie Lynette's wedding.. so rightfully speaking... the day and time i went for Lyn's wedding was the last day and last ever time i spent at my Toa Payoh flat.... cos my family shifted over to my new flat (at East side) on 4th Oct, when i was in Philippines....

So here's a look at my old Toa Payoh flat..for those who didnt had the chance to visit me before... and dont know how my humble home looks like...

The Living Room

The living room brings loads of memories.. cos that's where we spent most of our time there... watching TV etc.. literally that's the common area in the house...as there wasnt much walking space in the house (cant imagine how small the 5 rm flats are these days, cos when we moved to this toa payoh unit in 1997.. we felt it was super super small la)

Mama used to sit at the sofa watching Tv, and fall alseep there..while we will still be watching TV there.. eating my food at the coffee table while watching tv also... the super windy living room during rainy seasons... (i stayed up at 23rd floor thus its super windy la)

The bed to the right belongs to Me...and the bed on the left used to be where Mama slept.. but has been occupied by MeiMei when Mama when home to be with the Lord... I'm going to miss my room... miss the memories i had in my room with mama..

Miss the little corner of my room at my bed where I had been ME and was able to be Who i am to myself.. and to God... thru my happiest moments and my most down moments... Gonna miss you beddie and roommie...

And so... before i left for the wedding recept.. i took a last look at the house before i left... cos i know i'm going to miss staying here..cos of the convinience of staying in Toa Payoh(which is somewhere central to everywhere), the super windy feeling even without aircon or fans, the super nicely decorated house (even after 11 years stay the place still look as new as ever la), and of cos the memories attached to this place....
