So met them in the morning... first up was teaching them to TURF.....
Funny why they choose to turf in a circle... hahah.. anyway.. as always. for most first timers turf pits always turn up super Minced..... and so... not to scare them but just to show them the standard pit we should have......
Here's Mine
Well after turfing and first round of fire lighting for the girls, we went for lunchie and then it was Rope ladder for the girls.. due to our late night mamboing the night before... Addie and me concussed on the sofa inside Guides room and Zi and Genecca took over the training..hahah (well i wasnt really supposed to be there for the camp anyway... haha)
Concussed Big time
and when i woke up.. i was super energized again.. and then... haha 'tested' on the girl's rope ladder..... and made a homemade swing.....
Thereafter.... we did emergency shelter too... pioneer camp seems to be tiring for the girls... no choice.. cos it was initially planned as a 4D 3 N camp.. condensed into a 2D 1 N camp instead... but glad that this batch of Sec 3s were a great bunch.... hundred times better then the last batch of pioneer girls... (of which 3 pulled out.. 1 due to more logical reasons... the other 2-due to plain attitude problem)Oh wells, to each their own....
Day 2 of Pioneer Camp- Friday 13th June
Did Rope ladder again...and this time I did one for the girls to see the standard again... hahaha
Me Climbing up the ladder
And then it was fire lighting again..and i got one good shot of Jerms
and you always wondered how I got the name "Fire breather"... well it was all training from Pioneer... that make me love 'playing with fire'... hahhaa
and yups... just to end of this post... well here's how 2 different emergency shelter look like....

haha i look super comfy lying in there....
Anywayz.. was such a joy teaching this batch pioneer... they were Guides with good attitude, with great determination... never complained at all, showed good initiative and really a bunch who were fun to be with... kinda reminded me of our batch back then.. =)
We haven had such a great batch of guides for a long while in SAC Guides history... wonder if the next nice batch again wil be in years from now?? hahaha
