So was shopping with Hazel on Wednesday night... didnt find any suitable... She said it will be good to find those with straps behind...just so to secure my feet and make sure it does not slip out...
On Thursday night...i met my sis at Town to continue shopping for glam shoes... well found Some..but either it was TOO HIGH, or too low... no straps or well NO size anymore....(but found one that was KIV- the one in the picture above) Why KIV?? well cos it was not too bad..cost $29.90 only, but well think it wasnt of good quality..and the shiny surface was those glitter that would fell off after a few wears.... so tot i would KIV it to buy just for photo shoot if i really cant find one i Like...
So on Friday (yesterday, since its Saturday now)... was out with Skee.. went to a few places too. and saw these few shoes that was not too bad, nice, pretty and sweet....
Unique nice shoe- but just didnt like it 100% ly..
Point is... as i was shopping for shoes.. i drew the parallel of shopping for shoe to looking for the right person in one's life... Looking for a right partner is never easy...
First- Timing plays a big big part, to be at the right place at the right time, right moment..I didnt manage to find the pair that i like the very first time (some people do..) but like some others, I too found the one I like and love only after a few tries of Looking around... Same.. sometimes for people/shoes that came... well we just didnt spotted each other... and the opportunity just go by... but i guess for Boy and me... timing was God's timing..and that's how we spotted each other...
Secondly- Finding a pair that fits you well perfectly....one that complements your strengths and weakness, that brings out the best in you... While shopping for shoes.. i found some I fancy, however, they are either too high for me, or some other factors.. same for looking for the ONE... sometimes the person that pops by... might not be the right match in terms of each other's interests, character... though we fancy him/she... In finding for the perfect fit.. its very important that both complements each other (in terms of strengths and weaknesses) and well in biblical sense: weaknesses made perfect in the other... and to be a fit that brings out the best in us.. (that helps us grow and develop as a person) and in biblical sense again: to find a fit that allows growth in Christ together...
Thirdly- Realising that nothing is perfect, but it takes Faith and trust to take the next step forward...I won't really know if my $95.20 was a good spent.. but I'm willing to trust and have faith in it becuase I devoted my assets to it.. Likewise... taking the step forward with ur life partner requires a relationship based on faith and trust.. one that will be willing to face the cost of the relationship (sacrifize of personal time etc) and devote effort into it... in Biblical sense again: a relationship that's based on trust and faith in each other and in Christ...
haha oH wells.. kinda long winded in this post... profound? hehe chimalogy leh.. but well was interesting how God used this shopping for shoe analogy to point out such important fact of life to me..to again highlight that I have indeed made the right choice...be it in choosing the right shoe...or the Right Life Partner...
