The one about my Wonderful Night cycling

I havent blogged since LAst Thurs

Been too busy to blog..and most importantly.. I'm also kinda lazy to blog these days.. haha cant blame.. am still sick.. *cough*Cough* and also...my throat is mad... think i am really suffering from Permanent Voice Damage...

Anyways... updates:

Friday 5th May 2006
Went to work as usual.. and was a mad cow rush for me again... busy day at work.. once again another madness day at work.. well.. went home after work and it was breaking the news to my ah ma time.... "I am going night cycling later"

Ah-Ma: Huh?? you just recovered only
ME: aiya... I am OK liaoz..

so lala.. yes i went night cycling... was supposed to meet the rest at ECP at 9pm.. but at 9pm..i was still home, packing my stuffs, cant blame me.. i got off work late..and only reached home at 8.45pm... so called Bear to tell him i wil be late..

Daryl, whom i've asked to join the night cycling was already waiting my my void deck..haha..by 9.15pm I was outta my house... We left my block at bout 9.30pm..and made our way to ECP Mac to meet the rest...

cycled to ECP..and was there within 25mins.. *POWER UP* haha... and in fact we *Daryl n myself* were the 3rd and 4th peeps to be there outta the gang of 7 ouf us... Chimy came next, followed by Huifen and Weilun... Once all were there...it was the usual dicussions on where to go for the night, what to do

We settled for Newton Circus... to which my immediate tot was.. Darn.. i just came from Toa Payoh..which is like super near Newton la.. but heck..its Night cycling out.. I am no slacker tonight..hahah *last mth's cycling night, the Lovable Boy sent me to the meeting point, and pick me up at ending point and since then I'm called the Slacker* so.. NO way am i gonna be the slacker this month..

Boy was still in Ubin running course..so haha no chance for him to be the sweet bf, no chance for him to make me a slacker haha.. so lala.. we left ECP close to 11 and cycled to Newton..via Bugis area...and we got there at 11ish...but not everyone ate...wasnt hungry...so everyone settled for Sugar Cane... and started thinking about our next rest point etc..

I say: EAT, SEE, PLAY... CHimy and Vin immediately said: GEYLANG!! hahha.. but nopez, we didnt decide on Geylang..we decided to make our way to Tanjong Pagar Railway Station instead....

Oh ya.. Weilun must have been real tired... look real tired and DRAINED too.. poor guy..must be busy with work, being nice guy... he was dozing off at every rest point we had...dun even think he heard what we were talking about the whole night.... but surprisingly and Thank God he still managed to cycle with us around..

So yupz, after Newton, we went to Tanjong Pagar railway station... and manz, guess it really brought back memories....of days when i cycled past these place during those night cyclings in NUS ODAC days, of RACE 1 *one of the night's station*...and there we found rest at a table under a tree....

Spent quite some time talking there, with WeiLun sleeping away and with a straw in his mouth..*quite funny* i must say...and somehow..we were talking about toilets, and then it led us to talk bout Nepal and Tibet...gosh...its been 2 yrs since Nepal trip, 1 yr since Tibet....I MISS THOSE DAYS!!! miss the real memorable times back in Nepal.. the things we did, the people we met, the great things we saw..

all the talks about Nepal and Tibet..and future trips like: Canada, going back to Nepal in bout 30yrs?? haha, going to Finland with Skee and Chimy before age 30?? hehe and not forgetting the Hot favourite- Kilimanjaro where Bear say we shall attempt to just go in 2 years time..*so i'm praying that Bear gets BIG bonus hahahha *

So after all the talks, we decided to head to Mt Faber!!! hahah madness and super Chong Dong.. but whack la.. who cares... haven been such chiongster for the longest of time...so yupz, we went to Mt Faber..and we cycled UP... and I whom Chimy calls *Pengkang hill Queen* managed to cycle up to Mt Faber..haha YIPPEE...so proud of myself...

once there.. it was crapping session again...bout Marriage proposals....was asking how they will propose to their wife to be...and they were thinking of ways that Boy will propose and guessing hw long from nw he will ask..haha damn funny la.... Think too much liaoz.. too much cycling for them...

just before we went to get our bikes.. Me the "resident silly goose" *as Vin puts it* made a crazy comment: "they should set up a flyinf fox thingy down to the foot of the hill or to the HDB" and lala it Chimy into the "SOphy next time u go run for elections, and say this is the thing u will change for spore, should u be voted".. lala.. i got myself another star for being Silly again...

Going down Mt Faber was Damn SHIOK la...think we were going close to 50km/h... super COOL, super Thrilling..but damn scary too..haha but manz... i wont mind cycling up all the way there again just so i can COme down at that speed again... kinda gave me those adrenaline rushes that i badly needed....

It was already 4.30Am when we left Mt Faber.. and while cycling down.. I got an idea.. since we were deciding on the nearest and most centralised Mac to go for breakfast....suggested to them to ask for Mac Delivery...and haha we really called for Mac delivery..

We cycled back to Esplanade area..and waited only bout 15mins before our Breakfast came... hehe wonderful manz...Mac breakfast delivered to us..haha.. finished breakfast and it was time to head home...

Time check: 6.15am and we parted ways.. the night of adventure and reminiscence has come to an end... Daryl, Vin and me headed towards Upper Serangoon, Bear went with Huifen and Weilun towards East, while Chimy had to make his way home himself..

Got home at 6.45am.. and showered and Head straight to bed... didnt care that my hair was still wet..haha was too sleepy liaoz.. and to think i was gonna wake up in bout 5hours time... Thank God i didnt need to vote.. hahaha
