Bamboo makes up 99% of a panda's diet

Guess what? my Pretty, Slim sister was just telling us the other day that a group of Chinese Bengsters in her school was singing "I see a bamboo walking...BambOo.. BamBoo" when she walked past them.. Its like so childish la.. and Bengsters are bengsters.... haiz..

Anyway.. thanks peeps for all the encouragements and also Skee dearie for activating my supper mates to check on on how i was doing..and also to my Supper mates for arranging to meet me to find out if i was doing fine...

Guess the past 2 weeks must have been real horrible.. went thru some rough patches at work. kinda fogged and clouded up my mind bout tons of things.. got me thinking rubbish-ly... but I'm tons better now... actually after Saturday's Gelebration.. =) okies.. updates:

Saturday 29th April 2006
Went to work in the morning.. and was a good morning at office.. catching up with some of my kiddos.. and then it was off to Churchie i went..We were having "GELebration" aka a worship concert by our very own GEL band.. their "virgin" performance together... 2 hours long of worship..and i think they did well.. and great.. they practise and rehearsed for a month, and They really brought out the worshipper's heart...and can sense God's prescene there with us too.. =)

After Gelebration, Cheryl, Victoria, Gladys, Yunwen *my Guide junior aka Cheryl's good fren* and me went out together..haha funny combi.. but well.. nothing on..so went ahead... and we had a hard time deciding on where to have our dinner..and when we finally decided on where, and after what seems like turns after turns in Yunwen's car, and tons of failed attempts at changing lanes.. we finally reached Suntec...

And we went to Sakae for dinner..there we were started talking bout Ghostly movies.. and haha we got the great funny idea of renting Scary Movies to scare ourselves over at my place... went to Serangoon gardens.. and the shop that rents videos/ dvds was closed.. so we went to the one just behind GH..but we didnt have the membership card... and so despertate us.. actually msged our frens to see anyone knows if Toa Payoh have any DVD rentals place..

lalaa.. and they was.. and we went there immediately.. the show we wanted wasnt available and we settled for something else: "The Dark".. haha scary..but super lame show.. we scared ourselves more by switching OFF the lights, ahah damn funny... But it was indeed a nice evening with them.. seldom get to do this sort of nonsense.. haha.. looking forward to more of such times together.. =)

Went to churchie had Gel leaders meeting.. and hey today GEL band played for main service too.. SUPER GOOD!! Great job peeps.. come to think of it.. haha we all think they did it better then some of the worship leaders.. haha..

Anywayz.. Charissa, Shiyi, Als and me stayed back for meeting and only left church at 6ish..ahah had a great time doing what we were supposed to do.. had a good laugh too.. lala.. and then I headed to Bugis to meet up with my family..for dinner together... *I'm a good girl* haven had dinner together for some time...

we went to this Peranakan place.. for buffet..but sigh it sucks big time la... nothing much to offer.. felt super cheated of our money.. haha.. Oh wellz, dinner ended, Pearlyn, Gladys and me went to walk around at Bugis village then.. and got into a shopping spree mood.. haha and bought quite a few things.. A

nd then it was off for supper with Bear and Vin... VIn came to Toa Payoh to pick me..and we went to pick up Ah ryl the little monster... and we went to Gardens to meet papa bear... since lots of cafe were closing.. we ended up at McDonalds.. ended up being the nosiest group around... with topics like: "Zhen", old school days, crappy nonsense from me as usual.. haha.. and we only retired for the night at 3am..after i reassured Bear and Vin that I am indeed fine.. and Bear sent me home...

My weekend just past sooo fast... sighz.. but THANK GOd for Labour day, Monday.....
